Perfect Getaway Home
Our stay was a sisters retreat and we couldn't have chosen a better home or location. We love St. Charles and chose this house because we all had our own bedroom. Very spacious home and there was nothing more we needed. Excellent location. Loved the theater! We would return in a minute! The owners are the best. They replied promptly to all of our questions, both before and during our stay. You won't be disappointed if you decide to stay at this VRBO!

Return stay!
This was our second time staying and it was just as wonderful as the first! Our son loves the theater downstairs which makes it easy. The house is beyond clean and with a kiddo that’s important for us. The host are great with communication throughout the stay and always making sure things are working as you need. We will be back for future stays!

St Charles Gem
We traveled to St Louis to visit with friends and be tourists in a city we used to live next to for 18yrs. We picked the Old Town St Charles area because my husband and I loved visiting and walking around on the cobblestone streets. The house was perfect, the weather not so much because we would've loved to have sat out in the backyard. However we did enjoy the large front porch at night. Beds were comfy, furniture was comfy (want to know where you got the leather furniture in the TV room upstairs). Overall we had a wonderful time and would love to book for our trip out next August. Some items needing attention, the hot water did not work in the downstairs shower, provide more hangers in the closets and provide more essential items like laundry soap, aluminum foil, saran wrap, etc.. I'm leaving my rating as a 5 star stay because we enjoyed the place so much!

Peacefully getaway spot
This house is as charming as it is comfortable. Quiet neighborhood, easy walk to down town shops. We went to a concert at Hollywood casino and was a short uber ride there and back. I highly recommend this house if you are staying in the area.

Wonderful house!
This house, by far, was an excellent place to visit St. Charles and St. Louis. It is clean and well maintained. The owners were very easy to communicate with. We would choose this house again. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Beautiful property, great location but doesn't sleep 8
We booked this property for a family girls weekend. Our party ranged in age from 18 - 83. This property was just gorgeous. It was very well appointed, clean and in a super convenient location for everything we wanted to do in the St. Charles area. It met the needs of our party of 8 perfectly with one exception. It didn't sleep 8 as the listing said. Per the listing, there is a king, queen, two twins and two futons provided at the property. Unfortunately for us, there weren't any futons. So one member of our party slept on an air mattress (provided at the property) and another slept on the couch. This is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend, but know that in actuality, it only sleeps 6 in beds. The only other thing I would mention would be that it would have been nice to have had more silverware. Only one place setting (fork, knife and spoon) was provided per person. Not an actual problem per se, it just meant having to do dishes very frequently.

This was a wonderful place to stay while in town for a wedding at the Foundry Art Center. The home itself was such a treat! The location was perfect. Thank you to the host for all the great communication leading up to and during the stay.

Girls Weekend
Our stay was fabulous. I literally cannot think of anything that could have been different. The beds were really comfortable… the theatre room Is where we spent most of our time and it was sooo nice and fun! We would definitely stay again. Hosts were in constant communication to make sure we were happy which was amazing and they even left some treats for us! Thanks for a great stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Loved the House and the Location
I can’t say enough good things about this house and it’s location. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed the large front porch, and swing, tremendously. The house was spotless, well taken care of, and decorated for fall; super homey! The location allowed is to walk downtown and to the riverfront area, we were able to get downtown and to a winery west of Saint Charles in about 30 minutes. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive, and anything you needed was right in that area! We are already planning a trip for next fall and will stay here again, if available!

Family getaway!
We have family in the area and hadn’t found a place we loved until now! The property owners were so nice and communicated with us the whole time. We had our little boy with us (just turned 2) and the movie theater was a huge hit. Very clean and had everything we needed. Wonderful location and easy to get around the area. We will be back for further visits.

My friends and I could not have ask for anything more! The house is beautiful and so immaculate. We had everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the media room downstairs, with comfy reclining chairs, large screen TV with plenty of apps to choose a movie from! Grandma's Cookies were left upstairs for us, along with snacks downstairs in the movie room. The owners were in constant contact with us, making sure we didn't have any problems. I would highly recommend staying in this lovely home if you're looking for a place to stay in St. Charles!

Great house
This house is very cute and felt like we were at home by the way things decorated. We really enjoyed the town and all the historic places in the area. Really appreciate all the little extras the owners left, such as Grandma’s Cookies( which were amazing), and the goodies in the movie room area, We would definitely recommend this house to anyone coming to the area.

Just Beautiful
While weather impacted how many in our group made it, my family still had a wonderful staycation. This home is set up to be a very comfortable stay. Since we couldn’t go everywhere we planned, we enjoyed the theater room and a little change from our ordinary routine for a couple nights. The owner is very communicative. I was pleasantly surprised that he even came by to make sure we checked in okay and to let us know he was not far away if anything came up. We hope to stay here again sometime when the whole family can make it.
