This hotel is beautiful! Extremely clean, wonderful staff especially Maurice at the Pennydrop Bar in the lobby. We went there after the Cardinals game & had a drink. Now….. even though it took a bit for said drinks, Maurice remained calm & even offered us a drink on him as waited. That’s extreme customer service in the most polite way! He deserves a raise. He’s not even the Bartender & he made some delicious specialty cocktails! The only issue with our room was the door had a gap between it & the wall. Light shone through directly on our bed all night

What we liked: extremely close to Arch and baseball village & stadium! Stadium has great food choices. We recommend Salt and smoke. Large food portions and great bourbon prices. But still not 2 ounce pours. What we didnt like: hotel had limited restaurant options. They say parking is on site, but it is just a parking garage next door. Had to switch rooms due to faulty AC .. 80 degrees in room not ideal. Also, no network tv ... so no football on sunday night!!

We stayed in room 729. It was noticeably musty when we entered the room. We used room sprays to lessen the smell, but that only offered a quick short-term fix!

The property was very nice, and we like renovated buildings. The front desk staff was nice. The rm was clean however the phone didn't work nor the TV. The breakfast and staff were outstanding. The valet situation was frustrating. We would text for our car, and get downstairs and it was parked in front but valet. This caused us t be late several times. The area around the hotel is a bit rough but walking t the ball park area was easy.

The building was well maintained and beautiful. The view from the room consisted of 3 brick walls. Not very inviting. There was not enough help in the bar/restaurant. It was almost impossible to get waited on. People were actually coming in and then leaving before being served. The food prices were extremely high also. $29 for a burger! Yikes. We left and ate at the Hyatt with excellent service and much better prices.

The front desk at check in was unprofessional. While checking in I was nit greeted, instead the employees were talking loudly to eachother about ordering food and yelling accross the lobby about their order. I was supoose to receive free water with my stay, not the case. There is also no bar as advertised. The rooms are very loud and no sound proofing, I could hear everything including the next rooms shower and water turn in. A lot of homeless people and trash outside the hotel. Not in a a safe area at all.

The staff was accommodating. My room and others on the 5th floor lost power my second day there and kept us informed of the situation. The manager (I think his name was Ryan) allowed a family to move to a different floor without any trouble. I was fine with riding it out until power was restored a couple hours later. I didn't care for the location of the room with a brick building outside my window and the lack of local channels I could receive on the TV.
