Over all it was what I expected except for the listing said hot tub and there was none. The location and view were however excellent. Could use some tender loving care but it suited our needs.

Girls trip
This condo is not overly spacious however it was adequate size for our girls trip with 4 of us. Beach is great and beach access is excellent. TV access was great for us to watch movies at night. We would stay here again.

Beautiful view…run down condo.
The condo was definitely older and run down. All the cabinets, closets and bathrooms were falling apart. The beds squeaked when you moved and kept me us up all night. There was also a smell in the room, not bad but not good either. The location and the view were nice but that was it.

The facility was not portrayed as it truly is, the 2nd bathroom door would not close, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, there was food statins on the pull out bed sheets, the furniture was old and dirty, and the bathrooms are in dire need of updating. For the money spent I was extremely disappointed in the facility. The only saving grace was the location to the beach and the balcony views.

Great location
Condo was great. Requiring a visit to office one mile away to pick up and drop off a pool key was a pain as we did not have a car. Not sure why they couldnt just stay with condo as with other management companies even we stayed at same building. Otherwise a great place and we will be back again next year

Great location and bones but needs alittle TLC
The floor plan and view cant be beat. It was such a fun area, walkable, has a fun beach snack shack next door, easy pool and beach access. It just needed some very needed TLC. If views and spectacular views are your thing and you dont mind a little older furnishings, beds, toilets that run, kithchen drawers broken, needs some painting… this is a great place.

Week in St Pete at Caprice 501
Great location. Amenities were good. Enjoyed the grill area Bathrooms were old with a lot of wear and tear. Cleanliness not so great. Bathroom floors were very dirty. Lots of dust everywhere kitchen cabinet handles were sticky with old food Found a small lizard in my bedroom.

Awesome location, attractive exterior, needs an update
Positives - top floor corner unit, quiet building (only 30-something units), great location on the beach and easy walk to everything you need, enjoyed the pool area and the deck next to the beach, condo has nice layout Neutral - kitchen was reasonably stocked but lacked plastic glasses for outside use, no ice cube trays or ice maker, limited cookware and no kettle Negatives - Unit is very original, king mattress badly needs to be replaced (has grooves on each side and a hill in the middle), sheets were knobby or pillied and fitted sheet kept coming loose, pillows were cheap and hard. No overhead lights or fans in bedrooms or living room (AC worked fine) so it was a little dark in the unit night time. Bathrooms and kitchen were old but worked fine. TV in living room didn't work until the last day of our week stay, took building manager that long and several calls & emails to send someone to figure out the cable wasn't connected properly. Bottom line - would I stay again? Yes - unit wasn't perfect but hard to beat location and amenities for the price.

Resort rentals lied from the time we started until we left.
Unit was not clean, 1/2 hour late getting in and the cleaning person come a 1/2 hour early for checkout. Unit was not clean, bed was very noisy when moving around, no hot tub built into pool they said, needs a lot of maintenance and the internet didn’t work the whole time we were there. Then they finally called my wife back and rudely stated CHECH YOUR PORTAL which we would have if they told us told to from the beginning. Tv were very hard to figure out and you could not get any football games on in the living room had to use a different setup in the bedroom. Very disappointing as we have stayed at the Caprice for many years!

I had a staff member snap at me when walking in the door to get the keys and park pass because she was on the phone and asked me to be quiet. Having to show at the management office and get keys, then drop them off is old school also. the keys should be in the unit for the property, and a park pass should be available there also. The Toilet had issues in the 2nd room and had to be blunged after every use, even number one lol

The property was great, a little confusing from directions about checking in, and checking out, but nothing real serious, definitely one of the better locations we’ve stayed, close restaurants within walking distance, great beach for walking and picking shells, Tampa zoo was also fun, will definitely stay again
