RumFish Beach at TradeWinds offers 211 accommodations, which are accessible via exterior corridors and feature a safe and coffee/tea makers. Each accommodation is individually furnished and decorated. Beds feature pillowtop mattresses. Flat-screen televisions are featured in guestrooms. The hotel needs a little updating but its beautifully maintained. The service is awesome . The restaurant, Rum Fish Grill was excellent. Instead of venturing out we choose to eat there mostly because it was so good.

Have stayed here before, storm damage notwithstanding, there were numerous issues such as heat not working, phone not working, elevator not working, staff gave wrong answers and directions, or did not know what the resort fee amenities were. The staff are very friendly and wonderful. They make you feel welcome when you step in the door. The beach, music at the pool, s’mores at night, hot tub, restaurants, covered beach loungers are all excellent.

RumFish for the Win
Despite the recent hurricanes, the property was in good shape and the team working there was amazing in every interaction - from Mike at the front desk who went above and beyond, to the bartenders, servers, beach cabana setup team, to the cafe server, to housekeeping, everyone was friendly and made the stay all the more enjoyable. Our room was clean, bed comfy, decor is inviting, the pool was fun, amenities and entertainment were plentiful.

After paying 1,350 For 3 nights on Hotel.com, I was hit with a $666 charge at check in with no real explanation outside of a $55 per day resort fee. Was only there Friday-Monday. Said they were charging an $80 per day to charge against the room for charging while at the resort, with the balance to be refunded. Still didn’t add up to $666. I am contesting that fee with my credit card company. The place was nice and a good location but the check in left a bad taste.
