Great Property, Great Host
We stayed in the Hideaway the first week of March. The property was perfectly suited for our needs. We comfortable slept three couples, two small kids and two small dogs. The location was unbelievable and exactly as advertised: same side of the road and only steps from the beach. The is a dive bar across the street and several food options within close walking distance. Captain Al and his team could not have made us feel more welcome. We hope to be back next year to do it all again!

My family of four and our dog had a great stay. The Hideaway was perfect with a pet as it is tucked in the back of the property. Bathroom is very small but it was advertised that way. So close to the beach, it was perfect. We walked everywhere. Played pickleball at the park nearby. Capt Al was very attentive and answered a couple of questions during our stay. Would definitely stay again

Had a great time! Loved the hospitality from everyone. Would definitely stay there a from the staff.
Great time. Exactly as described in the description. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Plenty of extras to take to the beach like chairs, toys, rafts and especially carts! Hot tub is great and clean! Rooms were great they were very clean. Love the way the bedrooms were decorated very cute! We really enjoyed our stay there We will definitely be back! Thanks guys for everything!

Clearwater beach
Property was as listed. We had a group of 8 and were comfortable. Staff was so accommodating and nice! Location is perfect! You do not need a car for sure! We walked everywhere! We did instacart and had no issues although restaurants are so close we didn’t need half the food we got. As listed this is not a 5 star condo. It’s a cottage. If you’re expecting more don’t bother. It’s location and a Comfortable place for sleep.

A little cottage set off from the beach with the best Captain and crew to make your vacation grand.
At first glance the bright buildings might seem out of place along side the houses and hotels. Once you settle in and meet the Captain and crew they make sure you feel welcome. Can't express how much fun during our stay. We were able to use the beach chairs, boogie boards, and a wagon to walk to the beach and spend our day. In the evenings we were able to use the hot tub. One major plus is you are walking distance from a lot of restaurants and pier 60(which is a little further but still do able.) Parking in some areas can range from 3 dollars an hour up to 20 dollars an hour. So be prepared if you are wanting to drive and park you will be paying parking.

A Great Place To Stay in Clearwater Beach - Within Walking Distance of Beach, Restaurants & Shopping
The Hideaway Cottage was just the right size for our family vacation with a group of 7. Capt Al and Ginger were amazing and were readily available when there was any question or need. We only used our car twice to make trips off the island. The cottage we stayed in was a very short walk to the beach which was actually just down from the cottage. It was right across the street from a park, within walking distance to all shopping, many restaurants and just 2 blocks from the large community pool where we spent several days. They had many items available for use on the beach, onsite grills and other amenities that made the trip a fun and memorable family vacation. We will definitely reserve a cottage with Capt Al on future Clearwater Beach trips.

Location is about half a block from beach entrance. Has lots of beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, beach carts, and coolers available for use. Easy check in, about 4 blocks (easy walking distance) to strip with plenty of places to eat, shop, and get dessert. Even had bikes available which our teen son and friend used a lot.
