Our accommodations were the most amazing part of our trip and the view was so remarkable. The house was great, stocked with everything we needed. I actually was bummed that I wasted money buying things like a beach tent, sunscreen, bug spray, aloe vera gel, etc - he literally had EVERYTHING I could need stocked already. He had so many face towels, hand towels, bath towels and beach towels clean. The bed was comfy and even the couch bed was the most comfy I have slept on! The pool was perfect to cool off in and we saw so much wildlife just being outside our VRBO: goats, deer, lizards, crabs, turtles…we never saw the Coqui frogs but we heard them all night! It was the best! Steve was great, friendly and communicative. His dogs Trinity and Agent made us happy because we missed our dog at home. I literally day dream about this place and cant wait to go back. I wish I could live there!

Rustic great views
Bedroom and bathroom are nice and air-conditioned. Living room was very warm and humid. Kitchen was more of a kitchenette with a countertop oven and two burner propane countertop unit. Full-size refrigerator.Pool was small .Views were great to sit outside and look the ocean.

Quiet, Secluded, Fabulous View
As the title says, this place was quiet, secluded, and has a fabulous, relaxing view. You can hear the waves hitting the rocks below as you sit on the deck, relaxing in the breeze, which was super relaxing, our main reason for being there. The owner was easy to communicate with, answered questions quickly, and gave us our privacy. We've been traveling to the Virgin Islands 2-3 times a year for the last 15-20 years. We've stayed in various rentals and they've always been clean, bug free, with adequate air conditioning. The rental has always included the trash being disposed of for us. This rental was none of those things. The cabinets and refrigerator had to be wiped out before we could use them. The closet and most cabinets had miscellaneous items in them. We had to dispose of our own trash which was not anywhere near the unit. (this should have been communicated to us in advance) The AC only cooled the bedroom. We never got the living room or kitchen at a comfortable temperature, which is where the only television was. We saw at least two roaches per day. We were really disappointed because we had really hoped to love this place.

We absolutely loved staying in this spot
We loved everything about this little private bungalow wonderful view off the deck, the kitchen and the bedroom. Everything functions really well. It was perfect for us. It is down a dirt road FYI and a few other reviews said the dogs of the owner barked a lot but they don’t they are great. They say hello a couple of times and then they get to know you and just chill out. We had everything we needed and Steve was so available by phone for anything in addition that we needed he even provides a cooler or and water. We want to go back as soon as possible.

A Beautiful Stay!
My friend and I did not want to leave Steve's place when our 4-day stay came to an end. The view is AMAZING, and the apartment has a laid-back beach vibe. We were in paradise, and it was the perfect way to ease into our vacation. When we come back to St. Thomas, we will definitely book with Steve :)

We had the best time on St. Thomas. The rental is exactly what is reflected in the listing. We spent a ton of time in those two red chairs. Steve was wonderful to work with from initial planning stages a year prior to our stay to answering our questions while we were there. The AC split kept our room cool throughout the warm nights and we enjoyed the breeze out on the deck. We took advantage of the chairs, cooler, and umbrella that were provided at the rental for our visits to the different beaches. It was everything I’d hoped it would be. Just book it. If you’re looking at this listing, don’t second guess, just book this one. You won’t be disappointed!

BaD 1st Experience
The drive to the place was a winding uphill through small alleys, and then the island hillside on the dirt road . Had a beautiful view of magens bay. The owner has 2 big Rottweilers, and live 100ft from you, so when you go outside at night and talk they start batking. So be quiet. Theres only 1 air conditioner and its in the bedroom. The tv is tricky as we couldn't get it to work upon arrival. The fridge was holding a warm temperature, with black substance on the glass shelving inside the fridge, looked like it could use a really good cleaning, it was quite disgusting, plenty of pictures taken. I immediately went to the bedroom and checked the mattress. The brown stains was enough for me to know I would be uncomfortable the rest of the stay. Kinda at their mercy because we arrived at 630 in the evening on Sunday and the starting week of 4th of july J'ouvert, Carnival,,etc so places to stay are now very limited. We left the next morning and messaged the owner. We did luck out and find another place which added to the 2k already spent for this bungalow, so now over 4k has been invested just for a place to sleep. We did sleep at the bungalow, in our clothes, ontop the covers with our vacation clothes as pillows because the ones there had the 70s look with the ruffles that cant be washed and reek of body odor. Steve Shore did offer to make it right ON THE NEXT VISIT.. Sadly we will not be back, therefore no refund. I would go else where! Better places!!! Promise!

We stayed at the property for a couple of nights after spending several days on St John. It was a perfect spot to end the trip! The pool was small but perfect for cooling off on the hot days! The views were fantastic! We had turtles, iguanas, and hummingbirds visit regularly while we enjoyed the pool and deck. Sunsets and sunrises were beautiful! Steve has a great slice of paradise here. Proximity to Hull Bay was great for a quick drive down to the beach and eateries near Hull bay. We would love to stay here again, for a longer period of time, since we only got to enjoy a couple days here. The road to the house was a fun (short) bumpy road, that gets you away from the noise and adds a feeling of remoteness while still being close to it all. Like most roads and driveways on the islands, it can be intimidating, but was no problem at all for the rental, or my nerves. The home is comfortable with everything you need! The property is amazing! Thanks for hosting us Steve, look forward to a return trip one of these days.

Great Place
This was a great place to stay. It's in a very quiet secluded area. Our neighbor was the home owner which gave us a sense of comfort. The place is far enough away from the touristy area to be nice and quiet, but close enough to drive into town and to all the beaches for exploring. We visited many different beaches and it was nice to have beach chairs to take with us.

The view was more than we could have imagined. Everything was spotless and accommodating. The manager was so very nice and helpful. We felt right at home. We truly enjoyed the trip. Beautiful, rustic, scenic gettaway. This is the the perfect spot if you choose to find alone time, which we always prefer (vs crowded resort areas). It was only a short drive to groceries, restaurants and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Renting a jeep for the daily drive is recommended.

Breathtaking view over Magen’s Bay with lovely breezes. Spacious. Having a Jeep for driving on a dirt road the last quarter mile was the best thing to do especially because we had a few rainy days. Quiet up there. We could see the weather changes coming towards us which helped in planning our day. Host quick to answer us. A few repairs are needed which we talked to Steve about.

Just perfect
I’m writing this review from the red Adirondack in the photo… the one on the left, there. This is the perfect accommodation for the trip we wanted. We relaxed, we cooked a lot and we just took in the MAGNIFICENT view. The breeze over that lookout is perfect. Nearby Hull Bay beach/The Hideaway. Steve was great - very responsive to messages and very friendly. The property is perfect and we felt very safe: Special thanks to Agent and Trinity. We hope to come back with the kids someday.

Perfect Mountain Location
We had a wonderful time at this property which was in a perfect secluded mountain area. Excellent views and just a quick drive to any location on the island. We loved Morning Star and Lindquist Beaches. Hosts were excellent.
