Upeat näkymät ja runsaasti tilaa tarjoava Villa Alta Marea on täydellinen loma-asunto matkailijoille, jotka haluavat nauttia kaikesta St. Thomas ja U. S. Neitsytsaaret on tarjottava. Villa Alta Marea sijaitsee kalliolla, josta on näköala vedelle. Hotelli sijaitsee Deck Pointin johtavassa kaupunginosassa ja vain muutaman minuutin matkan päässä maailmanluokan ruokailu-, ostos- ja rantoista.

Päärakennuksessa on viisi makuuhuonetta ja viisi ja puoli kylpyammeet, kun taas alla olevassa yksityisessä huoneistossa on toinen makuuhuone ja kylpyhuone. Rento, trooppisella sisustuksella sisustettu Villa Alta Marea on viihtyisä ja tilava koti poissa kotoa. Spectacular views
The house is exactly as pictured. Bathrooms are nicely done and the deck is spacious and overlooking the harbor. The only issue was the sliding door to the deck is very difficult to open and close. Otherwise a wonderful house to rent

Villa Alta Marie was just as seen online . There were 9, ( 3 couples, 3 singles) It was a big enough venue for 12, all very spacious clean, well supplied, comfortable with our own rooms and bathrooms. Another apartment ,very nice ,air-conditioned, own balcony, plus bathroom and a kitchenette. Nice. Downstairs ,so we all were arranged on the main and upper level. Groceries and other amenities within 7 to 10 minutes drive. Kitchen spacious enough for 9 bodies to cook and gather. Everything was clean, with plenty of extra supplies. Great views!!! Only downside for us is that the main gathering area had no air conditioner so got little hot at times ,but we made it work. Best communication from staff. Thank you!

50th Birthday Celebration w/ HS Friends
we planned this vacation for a year and i was given the task to select our housing options. i found a few, but kept coming back to this one. it did not disappoint and everyone that joined us commented multiple times that i hit the jackpot with this house. the views from the back terrace and the pool were second to none. the a/c's in each bedroom kept the rooms nice and cool all night. while i would definitely book with Justin again on our next trip, it would probably be a different house just because we like to experience different things on each trip, but i would have no hesitation to stay at this house again.

Beautiful House
The house itself is beautiful, however, in need of some upkeep/repairs before they get worse. As far as the furnishing, couch, chairs, pillows, they need to be replaced. Couch in living room is dingy, white chair in main floor bedroom is dirty. Pillows are pretty much flat, even the ones in the shams. Blood spots on one pillow case. Kitchen towels were horrible. The ones I use for rags don't look as bad as these. Same with hot pads. Many of the knives were also disgusting. Bathroom towels appeared to be new. As far as Justin, the host, super responsive and helpful and put us in touch with Warren, taxi driver, who was also super responsive. The location of the house is gorgeous. High on a hill overlooking the water. You need to drive or get a taxi to go pretty much anywhere. We did walk to a beach that was about a mile away. Not a bad walk, but the traffic is kind of scary. All in all, it was a great stay, just some of the furnishing/linens need to be replaced asap.

Our stay
The views are amazing, the house was the perfect size for 11 of us! The pool was perfect! Not as small as i invisioned from pictures. I did had higher expectations with how much we paid to stay here for a week. There's alot of repairs thats needed. All the sliding doors where super hard to open, upstairs and downstairs, the grill wouldnt work after buying all kinds of grilling items. The fridge bottom drawers where hard to open because they was broke. Some of the outdoor furniture was broken in the pool area. The t.v.s was all different and we struggled to find away to watch anything. The driveway is super steep, so walking up and down daily may not be easy for everyone. Every bedroom has ac expect the main living space, so that stays much warmer but there are ceiling fans. Host was awesome with emailing and making us feel welcome.

Spectacular Sunsets
Our group of eleven stayed a week in January and we were not disappointed. The house is so accommodating. Many sunsets were viewed while relaxing in amazing pool. In fact we all got see a Green Flash at sunset! The beaches were simply breathtaking; snorkeling was a family activity. We took a ferry to St Johns and hiked to the Petroglyphs. We had a wonderful taxi driver all week. So prompt and available for pick up and return trips. The local folks are kind and helpful. St Thomas is a dream and the Alta Villa Marea was a wonderful home away from home. Thanks!

Amazing Villa!
I traveled with a group of 9 people for my 40th birthday and stayed at Alta Marea. The entire stay was fantastic and the house was just what I was looking for. Each person in my group had their own space and the house had everything we needed. The views were spectacular and communicating with the property owner was easy and he was very responsive to any questions/requests. The location of the house was great too with easy travel to Red Hook. I would highly recommend Alta Marea for anyone looking to stay in St Thomas!

Amazing Sunset Views and Fun Times
A group of friends/couples spent the week at Villa Alta Marea. The pool was a bit larger than expected. The kitchen a bit smaller. We specifically enjoyed spending time on the outdoor patio and in the pool watching the sunset.

Everything was really great. The location was good and easy. The views were beautiful particularly the sunsets at night from the infinity pool! Super clean check in was really easy and the host was always available. We really had no problems at all and really enjoyed our stay! If I had to say anything, it would be that there was a couple latches on doors and on chairs, etc. that were broken so some things were getting a little old, but nothing that would cause a bad stay, etc., I'm sure they will be fixed! And the only thing I was surprised by and that I would've liked to of had was a dining room inside with how big the villa is there's no dining room table inside the villa, but you have a huge deck with a table out there, but sometimes just be aware of the mosquitoes . Would totally recommend and book this Villa again!

A Grand 50th Anniversary/Family Thanksgiving for 12 Celebration
Very pretty venue with a covered back porch and gorgeous pool was wonderful. Well equipped kitchen but some often used utensils need replacement ( specifically knives, kitchen sink drain, toaster and microwave) Thoughtful addition of turkey roasting pan! Space and accomodations and supplies for 12 was great

This house is beautiful and the view is absolutely gorgeous! It’s located in a cul-de-sac so you will have total peace and quiet for you and your family or friends. The property manager was extremely nice and professional and everything is nearby (great places to eat and shops). Go ahead and stay for a while you won’t regret it…

Beautiful but a Review of Dilemma
Our stay was 28 April – 3 May 2022, for a total of 6 females, 1 could not make it. We did have a good trip. We did love the house, needs a little attention. It is one of three homes at the top of a hill and the other two homes are larger. We met the gentlemen of the largest home, who was very nice. The house setup was perfect, the views were amazing, area was quiet and safe, but you will need a vehicle to get to it and preferably an SUV or larger. We did have a little difficulty finding it because of the island not being big on signs outside the city area. Some roads need paving or fixed hence needing a vehicle with higher lift off ground. We had to park at top of hill which was about 20/30 feet from door. If you go to the food center, please stay away from their meats. There is a Kmart (yes, I said it) on your way to house, you will find what you need and at cheaper prices. However, you can go to a grocery market in Red Hook that has safer meats. Although important areas of house were clean, & I know the agreement relies on guests to leave premises in ready to rent condition, but we did find somethings that required some cleaning. Potholders soiled, pile of cigarette butts in a plant outside, some towels that we felt better rewashing and rugs need cleaning. We WD40 screen door, mosquitos love me & they let me know that although everyone looked out for me & we had spray. The door to storage on 2nd landing was broken which made us apprehensive but each morning/evening I would go check to make sure no one was hiding in it, the military in me. One room is without a closet, you just have a rack for clothing; since we were down one girl, everyone stayed in the main house; they did not want me detached in the downstair apartment. So, I stayed in room with my sister. However, my dilemma for this review. I am in the medical field, so I had a concern about downstair apartment, and when I returned the waste basket, I borrowed from bathroom, I found the mold concern on bathroom cabinet. So, I did let them know leaving out; this will need to be fixed and that apartment will need to be completely aired out, all linens washed, and everything wiped down. Really did not want to provide this review but in my field, I have an obligation for others safety. Hopefully this matter will be fixed for future guests because it is truly a really nice villa and would deserve 5 stars if maintained.

View is fabulous…but is it worth it??
The property is situated in a lovely location (if you don’t mind lots is speed bumps). It was clean. The posted pictures make the downstairs look much larger than it actually is. The kitchen is well stocked and beds are decently comfortable. However, the BIGGEST FLAW is the oversized sliding door/screen which open to the deck and swimming pool, from the family room. The door is damaged beyond repair. Management knows about it…has known about it for months. No one has done anything beyond suggesting WD40. It was extremely difficult to open the door. Even when we wanted the door open, but the screen closed to prevent bugs, it was almost impossible to budge it without picking it up off of the tracks. The difficulty of getting in and out of the house was both frustrating and annoying. Remember, in order to access the swimming pool from the house, going through these doors was the only way. Management placated me, but did nothing. Given the nightly cost of this house, I believe this was unacceptable. So yes, the view was fabulous. But accessing the deck was way too physically difficult and dealing with Management bordered on infuriating.

Beautiful Views
We stayed here for our annual girl's trip, with 8 of us in this lovely villa with incredible views day and night! The home was clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. We spent most of the time on the back deck or in the pool just staring out at the water and watching the boats go by. Edie and Justin with Prestige Management were easy to work with and had great suggestions for provisioning, taxi, and activities. Thank you for the memories!

Fabulous Sunset view
Our group of 8 rented this house and the lower apartment for a week. We have stayed here many times before the hurricanes. This was our first trip back to the islands in almost three years. The management company was easy to work with and very responsive to our questions. We were able to check in the early afternoon. The house is well set up for 4 or 5 couples. The rooms all have ensuite bathrooms. Four of the rooms have decks and sunset views. The house has been nicely restored with some new furniture, electronics and appliances. There was room for continued improvements and updates (roof and house paint, gardening, fix infinity edge in pool, upkeep on some of the rails and fixtures, new dinner ware and utensils) that would have made this a 5 star stay and fully justified the cost. Still, the house worked well for our party. The location has easy access to shopping, dining and the ferry to St. John. We prepared and cooked most of our dinners in the kitchen and on the grill. We enjoyed the plunge pool and deck (though they could use a couple more lounge chairs by the pool). No doubt drinks on the deck at sunset are hard to beat. We would recommend the house to group wanting to enjoy St. Thomas.
