Most surprised restaurant was not open. Had to call for face cloths ( black ones are not appealing nor do they look clean ) & fresh bath towels when service was requested daily. Very quick delivery by evening staff thank you! *** Very disappointed to witness staff in “convenient food take out kiosk “,using same gloved hand used for register till to pick out danish put them on a plate , again using same gloves hand to put them in micro wave. Not very sanitary. The lady was most friendly though.

The bed was comfortable which is the best I can say about the room. The upholstered chair and the rug were stained. Would not go back.

Spacious rooms and lobby. The lobby is very impressive. It’s a tremendous hotel and there are walls in the hallways that need attention but all and all a comfortable hotel.

Disappointing..
We had once stayed at The Stamford about 5 years ago to break up a road trip. We were impressed by its “old school” charm, friendly staff and close proximity to town. This time… not so much. It’s in dire need of an upgrade, cleanliness was lacking and staff were not overly helpful. Disappointing but it served it’s purpose for one night.

Fitness was filthy. Used towels, sweat stains on equipment, no sanitary wipes. Bathroom needed work. Peeling wallpaper. No full length mirror in the room

The hotel is very outdated and not clean at all. We had dirty towels with stains on them. Our bed sheets also had stains on them. We asked to be moved to another room just to experience the same things again. For the price you pay this hotel is absolutely not worth it. Also, the smells in the hotel aren’t pleasant either. Overall, a horrible stay & it was not worth the money.
