This hotel is safe but older. The wallpaper is peeling, the shower didn’t drain well. The room my son and daughter in law were assigned smelled like pot and the smoke alarm was beeping. They got a new room. The hotel is ok, not fabulous

There was no heat, hot water, Wi-Fi, or microwave! I was very disappointed. The staff did nothing to accommodate us, and did I mention it was freezing cold?

needs a renovation and a serious deep clean
Oooh this hotel is grimy and old! photos show renovations that have not been done yet. the "wellbeing" rooms are described on the stamford hotel's website as having access to peleton bikes among other things... none of this exists those are renovations they are planning to do but have not done yet so don't pay the extra money lol. the rooms reek of cigarette smoke (we asked to change rooms, next room also bad). we were meant to stay 3 nights and checked out after 1 hour. manager and front desk people are so friendly and nice- but this hotel is not.

Decent facility but need better services
Reserved room for 3 with 2 beds. Only 2 bath towels and no wash cloths. Faucet spout very loose. Toilet overflowed at 4am. Called front desk and they have no one to unclog or mop up the mess. Had to change rooms. 3 people at the front desk doing nothing when it’s dead and no maintenance services? New room had used dental floss in the bath tub.

I did not have properly working heat. It was 65. Engineering wS calked abd tgey said it was fixed. I went to bed and awakened at 2am freezing, a loud washing machine sound from the heater..lasted all night abd no heat. Otherwise it us a first class hotel.

When we first arrived at the hotel around 8 PM, the front desk staff was eating Chinese food at the counter, which filled the lobby with an unpleasant aroma. We were then informed of a $20 parking fee, even though there was no mention of this on the hotel’s website. Our initial room was disappointing: the carpets were dirty, the bathroom hadn’t been properly cleaned, and two of the drawers were broken. After we raised these issues, maintenance came to inspect the room and ultimately decided to move us to another. While the second room was an improvement, the experience still fell short. The rooms are significantly smaller than they appear in the website photos, which feel misleading. Overall, the hotel is in need of a refresh, and the current condition leaves much to be desired.

The hotel was nice but the room left a lot to be desired. For one the heat didn’t great properly. Second, a lots of noise both from the hall and from outside. Last the phone in the room was not working.

We’ve stayed at the Stamford a few times and we’re disappointed this time. The shower in the room wouldn’t heat past lukewarm, the in room coffee machine did not work, and the indoor pool was frigid. The staff were nice and the beds were comfortable but the water situation was annoying

When I first arrived, I was not addressed right away. The staff had my reservation and took my card then proceeded to inform me that I would have to pay $20 for parking each night I stayed there. Why do I have to pay for parking at a hotel I'm paying to stay at?? Also, the staff did not inform me of where places were located, such as the pool, dining, bar, breakfast... When entering my room I noticed the kitchenette area did not have any utensils, towels, soap and not to mention that there was no dining area. Why have a kitchenette without a dining table. I did bring dinner with me and thankfully brought my own fork but had to sit on the couch to eat. In the bedroom area 2 of the lights did not work. The floor seemed dirty so I wear my socks the entire time there. For the price I paid per night I would expect better.
