Great experience
If you're looking for an off grid sleeping porch in the red river gorge, this one has a nice wooded view.

Fun off grid get away.
The bungalow has everything you need for a short “off grid” stay. The little kitchen area was well equipped and even included a few towels. The screened in bed area was nice and cozy. We stayed warm and dry even through a thunderstorm. The compost toilet was clean and had plenty of supplies.

Awesome property, doesn’t lock
This place is just as clean and quirky as the pictures. The hosts do a great job with hospitality, making it a great option if you want the camping experience without many of the downsides of tent camping. As warning, there really is no way to lock yourself in at night. I would recommend to the owners putting the doors on a track so they can’t pop in, and putting a simple latch to hold the doors together. It would not compromise the view but would make it feel a little more secure and increase our enjoyment of the property immensely.
