When the builders named this condo complex Yampa View, they weren't kidding. As soon as you walk through the sliding glass doors onto your private balcony to see the view of Emerald Mountain, Sleeping Giant and Mt. Werner, you'll understand what "The Curse of The Yampa Valley" is all about - you will never want to leave. Of course, the spacious, open floor plan with cozy furniture and fixtures will also make you rethink the need to ever go home.

This top floor corner unit at Yampa View gives you privacy plus great views. Open the door and enter the large living area with refinished hardwood floors and a dramatic vaulted ceiling adding to the spacious feel. The dining area and fully equipped kitchen are right next to it. There are new light fixtures and plenty of space for everyone to hang out around the gas fireplace without feeling crowded. Off the dining area is the large balcony with amazing views, surrounded by aspens for privacy and a true mountain feel.

The master bedroom is downstairs and has an en-suite remodeled full bathroom, high vaulted ceiling, and new King bed. On this level, you will also find a second bedroom with two Twin over Twin bunk beds and high vaulted ceiling for extra spacious feel. Outside of the second bedroom is a remodeled full bathroom. Head up the spiral staircase to the loft upstairs and you will be amazed at how big it is. There is a Queen bed plus another remodeled bathroom with jetted tub and plenty of space left for another living area. There is an additional bedding located in the upstairs landing, Single sleeper Sofa with a Single trundle bed. Every bedroom has a TV.

No need to bring the skis in as you have your own ski locker right outside the front door. The complex, situated just half mile from the slopes, 2 outdoor hot tubs and laundry facilities. Unbeatable value for the location and space you are getting here!

Good location, shuttle to the ski base was convenient. the apartment was spacious and comfortable, it was in clean condition. unfortunately the heat in the living room was not working, so the living room and upstairs landing got quite cold at night.

Overall quite nice, 4/5 for sure. Shuttle service is awesome! Could use a bit of TLC on maintenance (fireplace fan not working, upstairs shower drain clogged, other minor maintenance needs). Note, not walkable in general, its a the top of a big hill. Steamboat is a dream!

We booked a four night ski trip to Steamboat and had a fabulous time. Used the short shuttle ride to the resort frequently and never waited more than a few minutes. Perfect getaway for a 3-generation family vacation.

Stayed here for a long weekend with our kids. We loved this property! The kids spent lots of time on the balcony watching wildlife, and even spotted a few bears. The beds were comfortable, and the space was very clean.

The condo is updated and was perfect for 8 people! The property sits up pretty high above Steamboat and cooled nicely in rhe evening. We didnt have issues with parking, but only two spots allowed per unit. The only thing that needs fixing is the upstairs shower door...it would catch and we were afraid it could break and hurt someone. Great spot. We will be back.

Map pin is way off. That was why I booked it. Then address they listed was for a different (much more appealing property). After checking in with Retreatia, I realized we didn’t have adequate parking or towels. Bathroom shower drain was plugged and the help desk wasn’t much. Had they accurately listed the property and I know what we were getting, I would have been satisfied.

Yampa Valley Success
We really enjoyed our stay here in Yampa Valley for our Ski Trip this past weekend. We got to the unit which was clean, orderly, and had a beautiful view of the Valley. The unit is located nearby the ski lifts, but not walking distance (Or ski in - Ski Out). There is a local shuttle that runs every 15 mins to the lift, and the ski lifts are the first stop! Overall a great unit that fit 8 of us comfortably. For the price you really cannot beat it. Would stay here again!

Holiday Travels
Stayed in Steamboat with family (4 adults and 4 teenagers) over the holidays. Unit was the perfect size and the open floor plan allowed everyone the space to be comfortable. Walkable to the base but it is very uphill on the way back. Shuttle service was amazing - loop service to and from the mountain and booked a trip to and from dinner one evening. Would highly recommend.

Great Stay close to Steamboat
I booked this property a year ago, intending to have my family up in March 2020. However, when Steamboat closed due to CoViD, Retreating was very easy to reschedule the visit a year for no extra cost. Come this year, the stay was excellent. The check in and check out process was easy, the property was very nice and had plenty of room. Note that this property, although only a 5 minute drive from the parking lots, is not a ski-in/ski-out property; additionally, the Steamboat shuttle does not service this property. Instead, Retreatia provides a shuttle that will take you to the mountains. However, the one time I tried to use it, it never showed up, and when I tried calling the Retretia offices to ask where it was, kept getting voice-mail (it was not lunchtime either). This didn't end up being a problem, as it is a simple 5 minute drive from the property to the parking lots, although in future busier seasons, if there is limited parking, this might be more of a problem. Despite this snag, the stay was extremely enjoyable, the condo very nice and comfortable, and had plenty of room.

This is the worst vacation stay I have ever booked.
To start, the house was not in the correct location. I was given three different addresses that did not match the area shown on Vrbo. The rental was not equipped to sleep, six people. The house was run down with dated appliances and wash areas. The rental did not have a hot tub and the grounds where closed with the property. The rental came with a shuttle, but you could never get one due to the long hold times and and no retuned voicemails. I personally would never rent or stay with Retreat in the future.

Very disappointed.
Check in envelope was not where it was supposed to be. Cleaners were still there at check in time. No key for the ski locker, they were to text the code for but never did. Fireplace didn't work. Bathroom door on main floor doesn't close, toilet seat was broken in 2 bathrooms. Mold in the small shower downstairs. Deck chairs were broken. Holes in the couch cushions. And the number for the shuttle to the ski area was wrong. VERY disappointed with the place, needs a lot of maintenance.

Nice place for the price!
This rental property is extremely close to the resort. Easy to find and clean. Could use a remodel but hey, thats why we got such a good price right? Great price for the location and easy enough to pick up the keys and head over. Fair warning, this property is in an HOA so you only get two parking spots... plan properly so you're not leaving your cars in an unsafe space overnight. Overall would definitely stay here again and it was a great getaway for a group of nurses/doctors looking to ski for the weekend!

Loved the view. Note that the 3rd bedroom is a loft. Okay for my family of 4. Cannot walk to lifts. Must drive or shuttle. Overall very good!
