Newly Remodeled Condo Near Slopes with Great Amenities!

Less than a mile south of the Steamboat Ski Area, Shadow Run is among the best lodging values in Steamboat. With a plethora of amenities, including an outdoor swimming pool (summer only), two outdoor hot tubs, a common grill, and a fire pit, plus a playground, there is plenty on-site for the whole family. Shadow Run is also on the bus route and just a short (15 minutes in summer) walk to Wild Plum Market, several restaurants, and the base area to the west and Whistler Park (a 10-minute walk) to the east.

This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo has been completely remodeled. New wood floors, kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, doors, bathrooms, and all freshly painted. Sleek new furniture with leather sofas, warms the living space and is the perfect place to relax in front of the gas fireplace or large, flat-screen TV. A big sliding glass door lets in just the right amount of natural light and leads to a private patio where you can settle in for coffee or an afternoon drink and enjoy the fresh mountain air. The efficient kitchen has brand-new appliances and a dining table that seats 4. A new king bed and flat-screen TV anchor the bedroom. The washer/dryer and newly remodeled bathroom are just across the hall.

Shadow Run amenities include an outdoor pool, hot tubs, an outdoor fire pit, grills, and picnic tables. There's plenty of storage for your gear as well with the two additional storage closets.

Nice unit. Its difficult to get a bike down the stairs to storage. Storage closet outside was full so I had to leave my bike outside.

Good functional place
We visited in June. We had two adults and two kids in the unit, which was about the max you would want. The place served our needs as we were out in Steamboat playing around most of the time. The grass areas provided plenty of room for the kids to play. We did not get a chance to use the pool or hot tub but the hot tub looked nice. There was enough parking that we could park next to our unit easily. The location is a quick drive to downtown and other areas.

Ski Weekend
Updated condo within walking distance (about 10 minutes) to the base area. Check in process is not ideal. Rental office is only available to check in from 4-5 pm and is about a 5 minute drive from the condo. Rental office places your check in information and keys in a lock box with other guests information. Rental office also did not respond to issues we contacted them with. Compared to other rental companies we have worked with in town, this was the least available and helpful.
