I never received an access code in advance of my stay so I was shut out for about two hours. The place is under construction. There was another guest who arrived during my stay who told me that his room was empty and under construction my room was also so hot that I had to have the fan on me anytime I was in there. I do not recommend this place.
The hotel is under construction. It is dusty in the front lobby, and lights in the corridor are not switched on. The front facade windows are unwashed and dusty.
The beds are horrible. The hotel management should go to IKEA and buy proper beds and pillows: https://www.ikea.com/se/en/p/neiden-bed-frame-pine-luroey-s59248612/
Entry codes wasn't sent to me via text only after when I've arrived and called "reception".
Toilets are shared. The one thing good - toilets are clean.
This hotel is not suitable for business travel. It is ok if you are on a budget and looking for a bed to sleep for the night. The room size is good with fridge, tv and internet access. It is near restaurants and convenient stores. If you have a family, don't bother with this place.
Overall, you get what you pay for and it is ok if you can rough it out.
Checking in and out was very easy. The location was good for me. Tiny room (without its own bathroom) and no external window.

Good for a few nights
Stayed at Deluxe Double Room
Pros:
- Good value for money
- Good enough for a couple of nights
- Very nice to have the coffee maker in the room
- Separate Toilet Cabinet
- Mini-fridge in the room
- Self Check in / Check Out
Cons:
Light bulb missing (but as we stayed only for one night, it was ok (hopefully they have installed a new one)
-Toilet Cabinet is quite small.
- Mini-fridge made some loud noises during the night (I think)
Small B&B in a good location. I picked a basic budget room with a fridge. Shared bathroom - but no problem. Bathroom very clean and shower etc worked well. Breakfast excellent. Situated in an interesting area (shops , bars and eating places). Easy to walk down to Gamla Stan ( about 20 mins). Staff friendly and helpful with tips (on where to visit). An enjoyable stay.
In fairness my fault I didn’t understand that there was a separate shared bathroom

Disappointing
This is called a 'Business' Hotel. It has self check-in and self check-out. My room (number 7) was downstairs with no window. I had to share a bathroom and toilet. The room did not have a TV remote control and I was not able to access wifi in the hotel from my laptop
The manager (Michael) and his brother were lovely people to talk to but it is not my kind of hotel to stay in whilst on a Business Trip. It is fine for backpackers, students etc
I had difficulty getting in with the key code but once I realised not to press the hash key (which gave me light so I could see the numbers) and use just the star key then it worked. My room was cramped with not even a glass available for water. Shared bathroom was for all the upstairs rooms. A No one on site although they may have been there during the day and no information for a tourist.
I arrived at this hotel at 2:30pm to see it locked and no way to enter the building. The entrance is actually thru a cafe. There is a small sign that says Eight rooms hotel outside this cafe. It looked like it was closed for business. On enquiring with neighbouring stores, I was told that they have not seen it open for a while. I therefore called the number and the manager then informs me that he had sent me an email with the check in process. The email was sent but while I was on the move. Failure no. 1 was was that they had not sent me the check in process in advance.
So after waiting for over an hour, I managed to get into the hotel using the key code given to me. I opened the room that was allocated to me using another key code only to find that this room was not cleaned after the previous guest check out.
Thats why the poor ratings.
On the positive side, Leo the manager apologised for this mishap and issued me a refund and also offered another room for free. He took full responsibility for this incident. Unfortunately, by the time I received the message from him, I had booked another property as one would.
Having seen the room, it looks spacious and the location is very convenient too. I like to think that this was a once off and mistakes happen. Despite the incident, I like to thank Leo for owning up and doing what was necessary.
The room was small yet warm and accommodating for my overnight stay. I would stay at Eight Rooms again.

I liked this stay because it was what I needed
Close to shops and the bus
What I didn’t like, was old food in the fridge , so I had to go and clean, first thing
