A bad start all around, but it did get better
It all started badly. We got to the hotel and there was no one to let us in. We only sneaked in as someone else was going out. When we got in, it was more than 10 minutes while we waited for someone to answer the phone and give us directions to get into our room. Not a great start. Then we were given a room with two single beds, not what we asked for. And finally...I realised that most other Hotels.com offerings give a photo of the rooms and this did not. Oh no. It was a good thing we did not bring our cat - no room to swing him around! A full length mirror it was impossible to stand in front. And all of the rooms are below ground, so little natural light. At least we were able to ascertain that no one could look in. So a bad start all around. After our initial impression things got better. While quite small, the room was tidy and very neat. The bathroom was ok as long as you are used to Scandinavian style which means no shower stall which allows water to go everywhere. Breakfasts were good and the staff very friendly but i will remember to steer clear of any hotels which do not offer photos of rooms.

Super location. Delicious breakfast. Nice staff
You cannot have a better location than this hotel. Right in the middle of the bustling Södermalm area. We were pleasantly surprised by the included breakfast. It has quite a variety of options to choose from and lactose free options as well. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The room is small, but who comes to Stockholm to only stay in the room anyway. Thanks for the accommodation Hotel Söder.

The owner asked for my passport and bank card and said he will keep them in his possession until my departure from the hotel. I have never heard anything like this before. Everyone be careful. I left the place because I was not gonna hand out my documents to anyone to confiscate, and I asked for a refund. The onwer said it’s not his problem and expedia said they can’t do anything about it. So I’ve just been scammed out $91 and there’s nothing I can do about it.

Helt ok hotell
Helt ok hotell. Ett litet hotell förläget i källaren till ett bostadshud/kontorshus. Hotellet passar bra till ensamresenärer eller par som stannar 1-2 nätter pga rumsstorleken Enkelrummen är små, men har ändå toalett och dusch (helkaklat) på rummet. Sängen var relativt bra, men kuddarna var något för hårda (för mig). Frukosten var också helt ok, med tanke på hotellets storlek, också skönt att kunna äta frukost i lugn och ro utan att något stressad servitör försöker rycka undan tallriken innan man ens är klart.

Vill man bo på ett fräscht hotell med närhet till Stockholms puls men samtidigt betala ett rimligt pris är detta hotellet man ska boka! Rätt små rum, men fräscht och rent. Trevlig personal. Hotellfrukosten var vad man hade förväntat sig, man blev mätt och kaffet var gott! Kommer absolut boka igen.

Det stank avlopp i rum 1. Det var tredje gången jag bodde här. Har varit något litet strul varje gång. Med att somna till från avloppsstation var droppen. Då de inte har personal på kväll så går det ju inte att få snabb hjälp eller byta rum lite enkelt.
