The Radisson Blu Royal Viking Hotel is located across from Central Station and easy to get to by train from other cities in Sweden, and to and from Arlanda Airport. It is modern, clean, rooms are spacious, and includes a minibar, kettle and instant coffee and tea bags, and in-room safe. There are several restaurants and shops nearby, and it is close to docks for boat tours.

The hotel was ok, I would not choose it again. We picked die to location which was really nice, we walked everywhere. Also chose because of having a/c which was well below standard. Asked for help, none, we instead asked for a fan which did help. After shower, entire bathroom was wet.

Breakfasts were very good but no handles on the cups is a bit of a hazard with hot contents. Also disappointed in the charge for "all day" in the swimming pool/ leisure centre when I just wanted a 20 minute swim. This would discourage me from returning to the hotel.
