The hostel was a dump. Furniture and decor from the 90s, the room was very bare and smelled of cigarettes. Beds were not comfortable at all. Shower room tiles were discoloured green, which the recptionist explained wasn't mould but i wasn't convinced. Buffet breakfast was pretty unhealthy and not much. Bread bun and pain au chocolat was limited to one per person. Would definitely not recommend for families, eventhough it was relatively cheap.

The hostel was excellent but my experience was less than fine. They paired me up with an elderly man who smoked in the room in the middle of the night while I was trying to sleep. He would talk in his sleep, snored loudly, and never showered, making the entire dorm stink. After that experience, I was convinced never to stay in a hostel that does not separate people based on age.

A bit outside the city, but with such a huge park around. Excellent for picnics and simple walk. The breakfast was included, I did not know, good surprise!!

Just okay to stay for 1 night.
I am a positive one and I really feel a bit sorry for leaving a negative review. The broken tiles on the floor in the room, the toilet flush was also broken that I have to fix every time my family use it. And also no towels... The light and the whole room is just less than average. Overall, I would rate it 2/5. I mean, I don't hold anything personal against it, there is still room for improvement and maybe at another time it will be better.

Die Lage ist gut, etwas außerhalb, aber schön im Grünen am Rhein und dennoch kommt man gut mit der Straßenbahn in die Innenstadt rein. Die Jugendherberge ist von den Zimmern und Räumen schon etwas abgenutzt, aber alles ist ok. Die riesige Terrasse mit den Sitzmöglichkeiten und Tischtennisplatten ist toll. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und es wird alles nachgereicht, was leer ist.

Comfortable place but far from the city centre
The hostel is big, comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The 3 bed room is big, the bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is very well and very affordable. The location is far away from the city center. Very close to germany 😅
