Whilst this venue was in a good area, particularly for beach access and short drive/stroll from dining area, the property is dated, which also means it looks unclean but I am sure it is clean. I had difficulty checking in late and was greeted by an abrupt person who advised they had a wrong number for me but the number on the paperwork was correct. So no contact was made to advise me how to check in after hours. And no communication during stay despite walking past reception multiple times per day. The bed was poorly made with plenty of sheet to tuck in one side and none the other requiring me to remake, but uncomfortable until I realised early in the morning. I will go elsewhere next time.

We had an absolutely brilliant stay at The Grand Palais. The room was very modern and comfortable. Stunning uninterrupted views of the beach, surf and whales on the daily. Great location, close to everything and the roof top was the perfect escape for Dad to enjoy a few coldies! We'll be back! 10/10!

We were very happy with our stay. Only disappointment being, I selected 2 queen beds when booking however one room had a double bed pushed right up against the wall with no way to move to gain access to the side of bed. Other bed in the room was a single. I twice requested two queen beds in the special requests section. Not once was I told two queen beds were not available. The main bedroom had a king bed.

Very good older property. Very well located. Staff friendly, although no daily cleaning of unit. Very basic start kit provided, toilet paper etc then had to buy your own. However positives outweigh the negatives. Would rent there again.

Lovely stay
We arrived after hours but had clear instructions on where to find key. That night we realised the spa bath was not working. We notified reception in the morning and it was fixed by the afternoon - great service. Would stay again as it had everything we needed. Only downside was we didn't get a lot of sun in our room (however, we were out most of the day).

Wonderful friendly and informative staff. Apartment 46 was clean, had comfortable furniture and amenities, modern bathrooms and kitchen. adjacent Resturant for breakfast/lunch, The Booley was super!! Nice convenient walking distance to Mololoba shopping and dinning as well as Maroochydore. Wonderful view of the pacific, lots of surfing and beach activity! Pianika, Julie and Wendy weee fabulous. Grand Palais exceeded our expectations!!!
