Cozy Cottage 1 mile from Holden Beach and Boat Launch. Dog Friendly!!

This 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage tucked away under the shade of the Live Oak trees is just 1 mile from Holden Beach and the Intracoastal Waterway. Large well stocked kitchen with new stainless appliances includes a dishwasher. Lots of counter space for folks that like to cook. Our living room has plenty seating for all your guest plus a new queen size sofa bed that sleeps two. New 50" smart HDTV in Living room/Dining room area. Dining table that has seating for six. A laundry room with washer, dryer, ironing board and space for all your coolers and beach needs. Fenced in yard with a small deck outback includes gas bbq grill, table with umbrella and chairs for outdoor dining or just relaxing after a day at the beach. Corn Hole Boards for back yard fun!
Master bedroom has a Queen size bed, large closet and a full bath with a walk in shower. Second bedroom has a Queen size bed with an Ardmore. A new queen size sofa bed in the living room. We provide the sheets, blankets, and towels for your convenience. Extra full bathroom in the hall has a tub and shower. A small sitting area has a high table and 4 chairs, a great place to play cards, board games or just have your morning coffee.

We are smoke free and dog friendly with a fenced in yard!

For boaters and fisherman the free public boat launch is just down the road on the ICW. Lots of shaded parking is available on our property with plenty of room for your boat trailer. The mile between the house and the island is the "Causeway" full of Beach Stores, Ice Cream Parlors, Gift Shops, Mini Golf and Water Slides. Rental companies have Kayaks, Bicycles, Jet Skis, Fishing Boats, Fishing Equipment, Beach Chairs, Golf Carts available to rent. The ICW is a wonderful place to Fish Water Ski and Kayak. The Shopping Center has a Food Lion Supermarket, Subway, Dominos Pizza, China Moon, Surfers Cafe, Bait Shop and Anaya Hair Salon. Just 2 minutes from the house.

Several seafood restaurants are available locally on and off the Island, with or without water views. You will find a selection of Menus in the Kitchen drawer. Both Seafood and Produce markets for fresh food are just down the road. For a quick sub or sandwich or breakfast, two Deli's are within walking distance of the house.

In the summer months Holden Beach offers free concerts at the Gazebo every Sunday night. Tuesdays are for Tie Dye. Bring the family and make yourself a souvenir Tshirt. Wednesday night is Turtle Talk at the Town Hall building featuring films and a lecture, educating children and adults about Sea Turtles. You might get lucky enough to witness a turtle hatching on the beach! Our new playground offers Tennis, Basketball and amusement for the kids. A Dog Park can be found at the end of Scotch Bonnet Street on the Island. Parking at Beach Access signs. Some provide shower and
porta-pottys. Leashed Dogs are allowed on the beach year round. Check times for different seasons

We had another wonderful time at this Cozy Beach cottage. The fenced in back yard is awesome. Our doggie enjoyed playing and chasing balls. The hosts were also very helpful and kind. Such a fun trip!!

Great budget - friendly vacation home!!
This is our second year staying here, and we just love the location. The home owner is very friendly and helpful. The house is clean and well stocked, and there is even extra beach supplies (umbrella, chairs, ect.) and yard games to play. We plan on renting here again in the future. 🏖

Overall the property was good and we enjoyed our stay. Pros: Location - literally right around the corner from the beach Price - super close to the beach without the "on the beach" price Amenities - has everything you need, all appliances, dishwasher, laundry, etc. Communication - host was very responsive and even made recommations for activities Process - check in/check out was easy, clearly communicated, and there's a nice book present when you check in that has any additional info you need about the property and area. Cons: Age - the house is an older property and has been updated in some areas, but is still a little rough around the edges in places, particularly the bathrooms. Comfort - the sofa and love seat are not comfortable. One bed had a VERY firm mattress, the other a VERY soft mattress. In summary, not much bad to say about the place. Again, for a free-standing unit that close to the water, it's hard to beat the price.

This is a cute older home that is very well stocked with kitchen essentials and linens. The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet. We loved watching the squirrel steal apples to eat the seeds while we had our morning coffee outback. I feel the price for this home was reasonable. The host communicated quickly and was very kind.

Great place to stay!!
We loved Cozy Cottage. We stayed from May 12-19 with our little dog Henry. Everything you need from the living room, bedrooms, bathrooms, outdoors and especially the amenities in the kitchen. About a mile to the beach, and a very short distance to Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Food Lion, Walgreens and many food places. I definitely recommend staying here. I hope to make it back again next spring. Linda is such a sweet, nice host. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely place.

Great Stay
This was our 2nd time staying here. We enjoy it each time we come. Great communication with the owners. Check in and out super easy.
