Enjoyed Casino...not so much lodging
Very basic. Was disappointed we didn't get any free play credit or meal credit at the Casino. Should of drove on the Turtle Creek. Not a good value.

the lodge was great disapointed resturant was closed did'nt go inside casino the area is beautiful in the fall and we were very happy withthe wineirers I did'nt ask about resturarnt just assomed there would be a nice one with the casino it was my birthday and im 89 so i probalby won't be back but if I ever go anyplace again I'll know to ask more questions

The bedding, comforter in particular did not smell fresh. Also, for some reason, the smoke alarm went off when each of us tried to shower.

Great property to stay at. The only thing is the shower drain did not drain properly and while taking a shower the water was up to my ankles as I was washing my hair and body. Also a small pub table would have been nice to sit at and eat in the room.

Needs TLC, deep cleaning, and pest control!
We stayed one night at this location for our five day trip. First concern was the hotel hallway; it is very beat up and needs deep cleaning. The carpet was coming and in terrible shape. Our room furniture was also needy some TLC, curtains had spots & around the shower needed deep cleaning. The worse part was when we woke up at 7am and my husband had red bumps all over him. They appeared to be bug bites. I was wearing long sleeve top and long bottoms and had nothing. We quickly packed and left. He told the front desk, the lady working seemed uninterested. He did suggest that someone look at the room prior to having anyone stay in the room.

The outdoor patio area is a Gem, but Badly in need of Repair or Replacement. It's a Great gathering spot for the end of the day but it's downside is deck boards and railings that are warped, showing both splinters and exposed nails. There is seating for about 15-20 so it is large enough but in poor shape. It's also inexcusable in 2024, that every room doesn't have both a mini fridge and microwave. You have to upgrade to a Bayview room to get those......Really? Don't get me wrong, we will return there again and again because between the Casino next door, shopping and dining options down the street in Suttons Bay and Leeland, there is a Huge draw.
