Knoll House is like a weird time warp of a hotel. It’s very reminiscent of the 1950’s/1960’s vibe with a 1980’s interior so don’t stay if you looking for modern facilities. But it has a certain charm. The highlight has got to be the outdoor pool and the front lawn plus the setting on Studland. The food, cocktails and other features were not great tbh but we enjoyed our stay nonetheless.

Lovely character hotel. We unfortunately ended up in the garden room next to the carpark not the main house. Old feather bed cover and pillows quite scratchy I needed baby lotion at 2am in order to seal my skin and relax. Not a good night's sleep lovely food

We love coming to the Knoll House, it’s so quirky and relaxing with so much history attached to it, and the surrounding countryside is amazing plus we can bring our dog . Food good can’t wait to come back 👍🐾

Fantastic place for dog owners. Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Only downside was the furniture is a bit ild and worn, but very minor quibble, will definitely stay again.

Quaint with great service
The property is rather quaint, but the service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. Some areas are pretty dated, but it kind of adds to the charm of the place. An extremely good and friendly atmosphere with lots of repeat visitors. Short, easy walk to a lovely long beach.

A lovely place to stay
We had a very enjoyable time at Knoll House Hotel. The setting is beautiful, very close to Studland beach. Every member of staff was friendly, cheerful and very helpful.

Iconic old Hotel in great location. Staff helpful and food good. Place just needs huge refurbishment. For example had to use towels to dry condensation from window sills inside each morning as old metal windows.

Loved the quirkiness and history associated with this hotel. It is a fabulous location and swimming in the (heated) outdoor pool before breakfast was such a treat. Great breakfast too! The staff are friendly and helpful. It is a shame that the owners are allowing the fabric of the property to deteriorate as they want to knock it down and build something huge and modern. I think the main building should be listed and hope to return to this lovely spot before the developers get their way.
