Nice pub, with decent beer and stuff going on. Rooms set away so quiet. Decent breakfast, bit slow service. Good price and better than a premier inn with more character.

The welcome to The Sun Inn was not good. Swearing staff, long wait, very awkward atmosphere. But the room was nice and the bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. Tea,coffee,biscuits,shampoos etc. This was a great value place to stay and apart from the tv being too small it was all good!

We stayed here en route to bath and was delighted with our room that included a good English breakfast,rooms nice and large with ample towels,tea coffee and all your usual needs,even though it’s near the main road we had windows open and never heard a peep.Hotel has a great bathroom too with a nice large shower

Room was lovely, powerful shower. We had an evening meal which was also very good. The breakfast was excellent. The pub backs on to Coate Water park which you can access from the bottom of the carpark. We had a lovely walk around the lake after our evening meal.

The best place to stay in my 5 week trips
Amazing stay Big room, clean, quiet, big bathroom and there are both a bathtub and a modern shower. Shower gel and bath gel were individually wrapped Heated floor in the bathroom with roof windows Many kinds of tea and coffee Iron and ironing board Two nice windows full of air circulation Lovely balcony Breakfast was amazing with fresh meat and egg and seasoned mushrooms…big solar roof in the breakfast room that gives lights to the room Parking was huge and easy to park The least expensive and the best place to stay in the UK among my last 10 hotels. I had paid triple for another inn the night before and got not even half of what they offer at the Sun inn

We had a 3 night stay here August 2024. Great hotel, Dog Friendly, Good location, Lovely Staff, Food & Drink available, 2 minute walk to Coates Country park, Great Breakfast, Clean comfortable and modern rooms. Really could not fault this place. 👍👍
