Our family has stayed here for over 20 years. Summer vacations, work trips, a hotel to spend the night when you need the airport, etc. The location is fabulous and one of the best features is that doors and windows of your room can be opened to let in the sound and smell of the ocean.

We weren’t impressed by the breakfast. The room was comfortable without being amazing. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The pool area definitely needs an upgrade, which I believe is happening soon. Whilst it was ok, I wouldn’t pay the money to stay there again.

1) Suggest staff should ask guest at checking if they need slippers. So we don’t need to call reception later. 2) We called reception to get plates and forks for our birthday cake. Reception said they need to charge 8 AUD for delivering them. I had never experienced this so decided to go down to the restaurant and ask for help.

The buffet breakfast was great as was the service. Staff were very attentive & the food was always replenished. The rooms/bathroom could do with an upgrade. Not sure about the blue carpet! Was a little small for 4 people but we slept comfortably. Overall not bad for the price.
