As soon we arrived up the stairs to our room there was a bad smell in there, smelt like cigarettes.
we had open all the windows & run the Aircon
Nice to see clean bed sheets but the mattress is too hard & windows have no fly screens
You need power points near the bed side tables
Cheap & cheerful in a prime location. And it’s all about “location location” the Art deco apartment buildings and shops fronts give it soul and create an inner city village feel. And of course eye candy on mass as Sydney says it all :)
The property was conveniently located, close to Kings Cross station and walking dustance to numerous cafes, restautants and pubs. The reception staff was friendly and helpful and let us check in early. The room was spacious if a little dated, and the balcony was a bonus.We would stay there again.
The twin we where staying in was fifthy , my mother who i took away for her birthday to see King Charles had to go vuy disinfectant wipes and clean the room . The toilet was disgusting mould and dirty all over it. There was black hairs in the shower and in the beds. Window cell , tracks and curtain disgusting. Room smelt stuffy and stale. Reception when asked to book a cab for our departure at 5am seemed to be a hassle. Would not recommend this accommodation at all, was so disappointed I booked this accommodation for my mothers birthday as she spent the first night cleaning it. I do have photos of how terrible the room was .

Good value for price I have paid, however there is no housekeeping. So if you stay long then you will have to reconsider.
Love the location. We were able to walk to groceries, shops and bars. The Hop-On Red Bus is 2 blocks away, making sightseeing a snap. The front desk staff were very helpful. We would stay here again if we come back to Sydney.
Didn't stay there. Tried to cancel. Unsuccessful legit cancellation attempt. Was going to funeral and very vulnerable. Wotif pretence of "understanding situation". Escalated issue but by the time they got back with "Nup" 24 hrs later I couldn't even give the room to another attendee who was struggling with accom. Such an awful waste. There were plenty of empty rooms and Devere was selling the same room for much less on the nights of my booking (!)
Awful business practices. No human element."Computer says no" is just not good enough.
Never been as disappointed by accommodation practices and Wotif's failure to mitigate.
It's just "bad business". This made a horrible situation worse and I didn’t know that were possible. Boo to you all.
