Our stay was fantastic and made all the more special thanks to a gent at concierge named Michael Leavey. He was extremely busy and in need of many guests and staff, yet he took the time to show me the best places to visit in the surrounding area during our stay. When I spoke to my wife later, she detailed how kind and caring he was to her when she checked in helping with luggage and locating services in the hotel. This gentleman is an irreplaceable asset to this hotel and I dearly hope he is being take care of!

Very good resort with many activities for the children unfortunately the cleaning is not as good as it should be, I found hair in my pillows and bathroom was dirty, looks like they don’t clean the rooms properly.

The main areas of the hotel is looking a little tired. I noted the lifts were pretty dirty with the same smears and marks were there the while 3 days I was there. The water cooler bucket at the refill station was full of stagnant water and rubbish which was unpleasant. The facility has so much potential - it’s in such a beautiful area.

One of the worst properties I have stayed at. Every floor surface was dirty (pool, rooms, restaurants etc). Everywhere we walked had food crumbs, dirty band-aids and wrappers. Shower didn't work properly to the point where we were using the bath tap to wash. One dining area was available for lunch. The mini bar had one small carton of milk and no actual drinks like water. When I asked reception where I could get water from for my family so we could have some in the rooms during the night, they told me to venture out to Woolworths Leura to stock up. The one shop that did offer drinks, snacks and things you may have forgotten was closed for most of the day, so unless you rushed to get there when she opened between 9:30-12pm or thereabouts you could not buy a thing on site. Just appalling. Overall, just a waste of money and should have taken my family elsewhere.

We had an amazing stay at the Fairmont blue mountains! From the moment we checked in, awesome service, and our rooms had beautiful views over the valley. We loved every minute of our stay and will be back!

Fairmont is a great family resort with wonderful facilities for children. I would love to rate them higher, but I had a few concerns. Our hotel room was clean and basic, but the handle fell off the window when closing it and the spare blanket looked like it hadn’t been washed in months. There is very little done to remind guests to be mindful of noise levels when walking past the hotel rooms, we were consistently being woken by screaming children/parents walking past our room. Some staff were friendly, while others were not. There were inconsistencies in service delivery. Despite this, the breakfast buffet was great and the concierge staff were lovely. They deserve a shoutout for their friendliness. Overall though, I don’t think the stay was worth the money I paid.
