Disliked: Staff & service
Positives: Early check in was smooth. Armani the front staff was very professional and helpful. Bed was comfortable, swimming pool had a nice view, breakfast buffet service was delicious and good. Check out was good - they helped with my luggage and provided me with takeaway breakfast for my family.
Negatives: The baby crib they provided was old and run down. I asked for a replacement and it didn't work properly. There was gum under the table (unsafe for my baby that grabs things). Housekeeping did not take out my trash properly 3x in 9 days (I had many dirty diapers). Engineering staff walked all over my bathroom and got footprints everywhere, so dirty especially I have kids. To make matters worse, I requested a wake up call at 4:45am on a Friday, but they called me on Thursday unnecessarily waking me. There were a lot of internal miscommunication among staff in this hotel.
For a 5 star hotel, it was only for the name and decor, but the internal staff really needs improvement to serve their customers. The standards were overall very low and did not meet my expectations. I was lucky to be able to meet the General Manager and she was able to accommodate my needs. I hope they strive to make better improvements for future customers.
