Good service, old world architecture. Breakfast meet expectations. However, the lack of a usable mirror in the bathroom was a problem for hair drying and makeup. Refitting the existing mirrors to make them swing out may fix the problem. Air conditioning was noisy.

Everything you think a 5* hotel would have, the Langham in Sydney had. The staff were really friendly, the facilities were excellent (pool, jacuzzi), the bedrooms were exquisite and the beds/pillows were super comfy. Our beds were turned down every evening which was lovely to still see. Will stay here again in the future.

Generally, a nice, clean and quiet property. The best part is how spacious the rooms are --- larger compared to other downtown hotels. Beds are very comfortable --- housekeeping service is exceptional. Bell service was also excellent. And breakfast buffet is very nice! Main drawbacks of the property are the limited dining and location. Their restaurant is only open for breakfast, so in-room dining is the only other option (which was just average). The hotel is also located on a very quiet street with minimal businesses/shops. You have to walk at least 10 minutes to find a good restaurant, which oftentimes means walking uphill or stairs, based on the hotel location. Not ideal if you're looking for an easy place to eat at night.

This is a world-class hotel with world-class service. I was even provided with a bookmark for my bedside book before I even noticed that I needed one! It is a shame that there is not an evening restaurant at the moment, but the breakfast offering was superb.

Reserve a parking stall in advance
This hotel has great service but I’m not sure if it was worth it. The condition of the hotel was a little dated and we received a letter letting us know that they are making updates. For the cost of this hotel we were shocked to find out that the parking is $88 valet only and you HAVE to make a reservation in advance for valet. There is street parking available but it is only for two hours so you have to keep feeding the meter. It will be challenging to find overnight parking in this area. Our parking situation was an ideal so please reserve your parking in advance. The hotel is very clean and the location is great. It is a small property so if you are looking for privacy, this is it. They also left a cookie decorating set in our room since we were traveling with our 10 year old.
