The hotel was not what we were expecting. We have children and we’re out on the 23rd floor at first then moved to 16th both with balconies which are not appropriate for young children so we had to move hotels. We were not told we would be up this high before hand and the manager was not very helpful.

The property location was centrally located near shops and transportation. The front desk staff were amazingly helpful with all our needs as well as the housekeeping staff. The accommodations were excellent I would definitely suggest this hotel to friends and family who decide to visit Sydney.

Very nice and large apartment. The ONLY disappointments were: I had to request a trash receptacle for the kitchen since the one in the bathroom was only one provided; I had to request a kitchen towel; and the bathroom sink remained plugged for the entire stay despite requesting maintenance.

Room (apartment) was very large but a bit tired and dated. Good location close to Darling Harbour, the Rocks, Circular Key. Opera House and Harbour Bridge, all fairly easy walks. Staff were friendly and helpful.

2 bedroom apartment - slightly tired and grubby.. (clean but stained walls etc) Beds comfortable but a little firm for my liking. No room service and breakfast is located at a different hotel 5 minute walk into the city away which was disappointing. brilliant location - minute walk from the hustle and bustle, amazing views from balcony.

These apartments is value for money. A little outdated, but the beds and linen are comfy and new, balcony for fresh air, modern amenities. The washing machine and dryer were super helpful when traveling multiple cities for work, negating the need to pack heavily. The staff were lovely and helpful. Location was perfect.

The York Swiss-bel in Sydney was Amazing
Our stay at The York Swiss-bel in Sydney CBD was absolutely amazing! You can walk to about any major attraction. Public transportation is nearby. It's very safe and convenient.The staff is very nice and professional. The room is basically an apartment and well equipped. Restaurants and convenient stores are nearby.

Short stay
We arrived early (10:30 am)after getting off a cruise ship. We were able to store our luggage until checkin. We arrived back at 2pm for checkin. The room wasn't ready yet. We waited about twenty more minutes. Rooms are clean and have a few supplies (like dish soap) so you don't have to purchase everything for a short stay. We needed to print up a document. The clerk had us email it to him and then delivered it to our room. Checkout was smooth and the clerk called a cab for us.
