Small hotel in Haymarket-Chinatown. Couple who ran it were very nice and accommodating. Only hotel on trip that made a genuine effort to refrain from scented products. Woman was very good at assisting with directions on transit. Room was very clean. Nice tile in bathroom shower. Air conditioning in excellent order. Cool and quiet. Refrigerator was good. Lots of amenities to make your stay comfortable. Furniture is a bit dated but bed was comfortable. Nice towels.

We liked the proximity to the Central Railway Station, the cleanliness of the room, it was fairly quiet on Sat night as it was off a side street, the sheets were cotton & crisp, the bed was large & reasonably comfortable. What we didn't like was that we had to get a customer staying the night before, to ring the reception before a young man came. He promised to meet us at reception at 2pm but after ringing the bell and banging on the door, guests came in using their card and we entered the building but still could not contact anyone. Finally the cleaner arrived and gave us the card and instructions on how to get into our room. We were very annoyed and very tired from our journey. The hotel staff need to improve their performance!!

Property was neat and clean, comfortable bed. Check in was easy. Property near plenty of eateries. Extra things like slippers, safe, face washer, tea making facilities etc which you don't normally get in a hotel of this price.

Stayed the night to see Cold Chisel concert. Place was clean and comfortable, bed was extremely comfortable and pillows were amazing. Hotel was close to train station and light rail, it was in the heart of the city. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely stay again.

This is the second time that my husband and I have stayed at Valentine's hotel and we loved it the rooms are lovely with very comfy bed it's very close to transport and local pubs and restaurants and the staff are very friendly so it's just perfect for us👍😁
