Friendly staff with a tidy lobby but the rooms need a bit of an upgrade or rerfurbish. otherwise lovely stay. First time visiting Sydney really nice location to walk around sight seeing public transport was great also.

Had a room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms which was more than I needed. Unfortunately the room was extremely run down with lots of marks on the walls, carpet stains and generally very tired. There was a cupboard in which the shelves were dusty, honestly looked like nobody has used the room in a long time. Definately needs a renovation. Also, the underground carpark is extremely tight and not suitable for anything larger than a small hatchback. Location was great though .

There was no dining, would have expected breakfast as a minimum. Short term parking for a drop off was non existing. Good location for dining out in Darling Harbour and for touring Sydney central area. Very close to trams to main tourist attractions

First, the good. Great location, 7 minute walk to Queen Victoria Building and transportation, good size rooms, friendly staff, coffee machines in lobby. Areas for improvement: They were doing elevator maintenance while we were there. At all times there was only one elevator. There was a time when both elevators were out for an in known time so we opted to talk down 15 floors. Both lobby coffee machines were not working at times.

Overall, I liked the hotel. Clean, modestly outfitted. High points were complimentary Nespresso coffee at the lobby, washing machine dryer inside rooms with detergent, dishwasher and kitchenette. Swimming pool, workout gym, hot spa, and sauna room. Close to light rail trains, Chinatown/Haymarket district, and Darling Harbour. Only downsides: slow elevator and lots of elevator repair going on. We had to climb 11 flights of stairs one day just to go to our rooms. TV was non-operational. Internet was on the slow side. This hotel was good value for the location and price. I would come back again if they can fix the issues.

Old, rundown, not renovated as stated. Oven had the bottom falling out. Mold on windows. Stains all over cupboards. Arrogant, rude, lying manager. Requested a refund, and intended to find other accom, which the manager stated had been declined by Expedia - Expedia commented it had been declined by the host. Very poor standard accommodation for the price tag. Manager claimed "everything had been updated within the last 5 years" - this statement is actually laughable when looking at the facilities provided. Would not recommend to anyone when the Meriton next door is basically the same price.

The hotel misrepresents the condition of its rooms. My room was not renovated. The bathroom was old and there was a bad smell coming from the bottom of the shower stole. The toilet paper holder was so close to the toilet seat that I hit it every time I was trying to use the toilet! The hot water wasn’t hot and the water pressure was low. The room had old carpet and there was a strange smell in the room. The WiFi had NO SECURITY and no password. It was extremely slow, and often didn’t work at all. Check out time was at 10 am, instead of normal 11 or 11:30 am. I wasn’t aware of that.
