Under renovation. No breakfast as advertised since that area No ice in machine. Sign said go to first floor and use that machine. Couldn’t use front door because it was taped off. I had to go all the way around the back of the building lugging suitcases in the dark. Took two trips to front desk on different floor to get keys to work. When complained to front desk and suggested a discount since they had increased the price of the room $25 a night when I had to go from 3 nights to two, I was told no discount in sarcastic manner. When I said what about the breakfast as advertised, I was told it was free anyway you weren’t paying for it do no discount on room.

The place was clean and recently renovated. But they are very short staffed. I think the fact that everything was just renovated recently perfect otherwise I don’t think it would have been clean. When I went to the hall area where there is microwave and computer and near the staff area, the smell of weeds was strong. Looks like someone was smoking there.

We recently stayed for the weekend for a girls trip. I had booked the hotel almost a year ago through a third-party. When I checked in the lady at the front desk was not very helpful. She kept telling me that I only had one room reserved even though, I had confirmation of two rooms and all she kept saying is that my credit card was expired. I assured her that I had another credit card, but I needed to get the room situated because I had a large group of people and we needed a place to sleep. When we asked about another room, she said there was another room available, but it had no working tub. Then she quoted us a price double what we paid, I finally got a hold of the third-party company and when they called her, suddenly, she found the other room. Even though I had given her the confirmation number several times. I know they have no control over third-party reservations, but if she had just looked a little harder, the first time she would’ve saved us 30 minutes of stress and aggravation, trying to figure out last minute solution. The room itself was comfortable if you were just looking for a place to lay your head.

Nice quiet spot to stay the night. Room was clean, did smell a little bit musty when we got in. Safe quiet area, there’s snacks available to buy if you get in late and are hungry which was nice.

2nd stay, only stayed for the night. Short drive to JMA wireless Dome. Looking forward to trying the restaurant which everyone says is outstanding. Otherwise, room was fine, free breakfast was decent. No complaints.
