Lovely historic grand hotel. The lobby of the Lincklaen is a great place to seat, read and just enjoy the ambiance of it. We ate at both the onsite pizzeria and the hotel main diningroom. Both we found the food excellent and well priced. We had a standard room, which was spacious and well maintained. Beds are comfortable. The hotel does not have elevator, for us it was fine but maybe it would be a concern for others. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Free parking at the back of the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Lincklaen, because of its old world charm, and centrally located in Cazenovia. Would return again soon
We liked the charm and ambiance of this restored older hotel. Our bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. The front desk personnel were friendly and most accommodati ng. We would be delighted to stay here again someday!
The property was very clean and maintained
Since it is on a main street expect some noise but it didn't affect our sleep
Continental breakfast was good but there were only 4 tables in the breakfast area. - so get there early.
They said they have an overflow area but did not see one.
Ask at the front desk if you can't find a table for breakfast
Would stay there again
Loved the dining options. No elevator and our room was on the third floor. Not for the traveler who has need of electronics - no charging capabilities.
Quick overnight trip. Glad there were in house dining options. Simple continental breakfast with hard boiled eggs was decent.

First and foremost the bed was very comfortable but high. I’m not that tall so it was a little it hard for me to reach the bed. But no big deal. The toiletries they didn’t have body wash and conditioner. Our wall in bathroom have holes. And the walls are thin. We can hear our next door making out .And their breakfast was ok.
This is a great hotel as long as you do not need to take a shower. Just forget about it. Having said that I will stay in this hotel again; beautiful building, excellent staff, great area.
When making a last minute reservation, I booked the last available. Afterwards, I realized that it was a suite. Loved the hotel's early American charm. Upon entering our room we were met with a very spacious sitting area with oversized chairs to curl up in. There was also a full-sized refrigerator and a microwave. The 4-post bed was very comfortable.
We found the restaurant to be very reasonable. The continental breakfast had plenty of choices. In both settings the staff was courteous and extremely attentive.
As a side note, there was no elevator, so it is necessary that guests are able to climb stairs to access their room. The desk clerk was very willing to help with carrying up bags.
Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at the Lincklaen House. It is a nice change from the cookie cutter chain hotels.
