Say in Szczecin
The hotel is located practically in the downtown - 10-15 minutes walk to main city attractions. Parking is available. Appropriate quality of stay for the price.

Cheap and good location
Location is great, but the rooms look like college dorms. Beds like army beds. Rest is ok.

Location. It is located about 20 minute walk from the train station, although there bus stops closer. Restaurant. The restaurant had a variety of meals available, and is located down a flight of stairs. You can also eat in the outdoor area which leads onto the carpark. Hotel room. There is no lift in the hotel,. We were on the first floor, so didn't have to lug our luggage up too far. With the window open there was street noise, but after midnight there did not seem to be much noise.

Good facility but some street noise
Rycerska is about 900 meters from the Main Train Station. Few if any other hotels are significantly close due to the geography of the city. The location is very convenient, but there is traffic noise This is only an issue in the summer. if the windows are closed, there would be essentially no noise. The room was very clean and tidy, as was the entire facility. There is ample parking, though i did not have a car. Breakfast was very good. Internet worked, but it was slow. Fine for normal surfing and email Front desk was friendly, but they could not answer basic questions like buying a bus ticket. This is typical of hotels around the world, so nothing new here.

Breakfast excellent as was the evening meal. Steak superb. Good wine and very attentive staff. Two local micro breweries within 5 mins of hotel. Their menu was good and very reasonable too.

Hotel with potential, but with bad management.
When I arrive, staff did't know how many rooms I reserved and for how many nights. Noisy, smell cigarettes in room. When I asked to change room - there were no another room. Room big and comfortable despite smell of cigarettes. There were open back door during breakfast - it was very cold (-10C) and windy. I asked staff to close it, and they did it, but someone (supplier or cleaner) opened it again and again. Hotel is well located, nearby city centre. I don't recommend that hotel and I don't plan to visit it again.

4 night stay
Very close to town centre, Enjoyed the breakfast, but then I am a sucker for lots of scrambled eggs - salads, meats (hot and cold) good breads, fruit juice and fruit. Wish any hotel would provide beakers instead of cups and saucers, I'm from Yorkshire and like my tea on a morning. No kettle in room. CNN only english TV.

Good hotel, exceptional breakfast.
I spent just the two nights here and would definitely stay again. It is in a quiet area but just a short walk to both the old town and the railway station. The standout feature though was the breakfast. It was the most extensive choice I've ever seen for a buffet breakfast. Obviously it was aimed at Polish and German tastes but, unless you are stuck in a 'full English' mode, there was something for everyone.

Sufficient and clean
Very well located for browsing around Szczecin. Very good breakfast. Simple but sufficient room most importantly very clean. A little fridge and ventilator would be a great addition when hot in Summer. Nice staff. Overall I would recommend it when visiting Szczecin.

1st trip to Poland.
The history in and around the hotel was amazing. A little too close to the jail..lol . Would have been nice to have maps of the city to find all the sites. Room was nice, clean but would like a fridge or ice to keep drinks cool. Breakfast was very nice and the restaurant was lovely. Overall, very nice for the price and area of town.

Good for city trips
The hotel room was very clean. I booked a single room but unfortunately the bed was very small. The hotel reception staff was very friendly and could answer all my question. The hotel is situated right in the middle of Szczecin so it is a good starting point for city trips. You can easily walk there from the central station.

Simple, clean and worth its 3-star rating
The hotel sits within a converted military barracks, but don't be put off by that. It is easy to find, located close to the centre of town within easy walking distance of the old town and plac Grunwaldzki where coloured terraces of smart apartments and the best restaurants are to be found. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although I personally found the bed uncomfortable, that was more to do with the thin pillows than the bed itself, so the trick is to ask for more than one (pillow). I would have liked my room to have an easy chair rather than two wooden armchairs, but it had a desk and a decent size wardrobe in which to put clothes etc, and a large LG flat-screen TV. My en-suite bathroom was designed for disabled use, so whilst the handles on either side of the lavatory were spooky and uncomfortable, the shower itself was huge with plenty of hot water - the towels were small and hard, but okay. The buffet breakfast was very good, especially the scrambled eggs and selection of meats and cheeses. All-in-all, the hotel was worth its 3-star rating and I would stay there again.
