The continental breakfast was very good, and the manager went beyond professional to make everyone (even the less kind gentleman) satisfied. Five stars there. Candy at the afternoon check in desk was wonderful. She was very kind and made sure we were comfortable. Another five stars here.

It was unexpected that this is a motel, not hotel. There is a pool but no hot tub. Everything is super dated but the staff was helpful and do a good job. More than anything, the mattresses are gross. I lifted the bottom sheets to check for bed bugs, and thankfully there was no evidence of any, but I had a hard time sleeping there after I looked because the mattress were both stained.

I checked in with manager Candy and trainee Gigi who were very friendly and did their best to give me a great room for my stay. Room was very clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. All was great until the alarm clock blasted me unexpectedly at 5:45 am. Someone left an alarm bomb for me….. it took a while to calm myself after that…. Awoke on my own at 7. Breakfast was included and …. meh. The hotel is old and tired but the rooms are large and comfy. It’s close to relatives that I visit. Its location trumps all the other minor drawbacks.
