Nice property with friendly staff and coupon for free latte in the morning (two, in fact!). Nice (windowless) room on the 16th floor, clean, hot water, comfy bed. I checkef-in at 12:30 am after a delayed flight and a train ride from the airport. No issues checking in that late. ch Checkout time is noon, so did get some one jet lagged sleep. Easy walk from Taipei main train station. Lots of homes outside sleepers around the station, so be careful.took the train to Keelung the next day, so the hotel was convenient with only a 7-minute walk. Would stay again.

Cosmos Hotel Taipei is located very conveniently a few minutes from Taipei main train station. We chose this hotel because we were to ride a 6am train from the station. The hotel is average accommodation. It unfortunately lacks a luggage transportation service (by an independent carrier) that we had expected to send our large suitcase to the next hotel to stay after a 3-day short trip. The hotel is surrounded by small local restaurants and convenience stores so that you won't have inconvenience.

This hotel is close to the train station and MRT. It would be easy to get around. The staff are helpful. But some facilities are getting old and need to be replaced or renovated. There was some unpleasant smell in the hallway and washroom.

Hotel a bit dated and furniture worn. Showering faucet was bad, as it is so hard to get the right temperature. Aircon was super cold, especially during this cold spell period. Breakfast is good as usual and the bonus is drink vouchers redeemable at cafe on ground floor. Hotel should really think about upgrading. Will consider looking for other hotels nearby.

Standards seem to be slipping.
Repeated visit with this hotel thou it seems to be slipping with it's standards, from the lacklustre room condition, to the depressing breakfast options. Trust me, I have stayed there yearly for the past decade and have spent 11 days this round. Smiles are disappearing, especially with front desk, used to feel welcome at check-in, now it's really procedural.

Nice stay
Well managed hotel. Room was big enough. Breakfast was good. All staff were kind, attentive and professional. They speak fluent English! Hope the window could open. The air was humid in the room.

Good Hotel
The room was too small with one chair and hardly enough space to move about. No toiletries like tooth paste/ brush were provided. The towels were extra clean and the breakfast was sumptous with a large variety of food - mostly of japanese/ taiwan cuisine. The place is ideally located close to the Taipei Main Train Station. Thed station has a food coiurt that caters to all asian tastes- Korean, Japanese, Indian, Vietnamese and Thai.
