Good location. Nothing to write home about.
This is my first hostel stay and I guess I expected more. The one I stayed at before was a guesthouse where there were 10 people max and I got to know at least a few of the people pretty well. Here there were a bunch of rooms like a hotel, the difference being that not all rooms had bathrooms and most of the rooms didn't have windows. In addition, it seems like most people keep to themselves unless they are forced into a dorm type room of which I don't believe there was one. Lots of rooms, always people checking in, there's a commons area and breakfast. I honestly think the female staffers who wore glasses hate their jobs and possibly their lives. Not very friendly people.
The biggest problem I had was the men's restroom. You have to actually go outside of the hostel to reach it, then down the hall only to discover that the washing machine is essentially inside the men's restroom and directly across the men's showers.
