Stone Hut Out of the Wild Retkeilymajat

Stone Hut on kaksikerroksinen mökki (800 neliöjalkaa), jossa on kuningatar makuuhuone alakerrassa ja kaksi queen-makuuhuonetta yläkerrassa.
Makuuhuone 1 (graniittinen huone) UPSTAIRS on tilava, jossa on queen-vuode ja oleskelualue ikkunoiden edessä kahvipannulla, kuuman veden dekantterilla, leivänpaahdin, teetä ja kahvia. Se on yhdistetty taskuoven kautta toiseen makuuhuoneeseen (Northridge), jossa on queen-vuode, iso ikkuna ja erillinen sisäänkäynti. Upeat näkymät Alaska-alueelle kaikista huoneista. Nämä kaksi makuuhuonetta jakavat yhden kylpyhuoneen.
DOWNSTAIRS huone on Boulder Room ja sijaitsee pois olohuoneesta. Se on queen-vuode ja avautuva ikkuna. Boulder-huone on yhdistetty olohuoneeseen taskuoven kautta. Olohuoneessa on suuret ikkunat, avajaiset ja näkymät Alaska-alueelle. Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on yksi pieni kylpyhuone ja suihku. Keittokomero on pieni jääkaappi, kaksi poltinta liesi, mikroaaltouuni, pesuallas, kahvinkeitin ja kattilat ja pannut. Graniittihuone yläkertaan pääsee kierreportaita tai erillistä sisäänkäyntiä ulkopuolelta.
Kivenhakkaa rakennettiin omistajan toimesta, kivieristeineen sekä ulkona että sisään. Stone Hut sijaitsee suuressa kiinteistössä, jossa on maisemoitu nurmikko ja suuret lohkareet. Stone Hut on pääsy kannelle, sekä erillinen alue nurmikolla, jossa picnic pöytä ja tuolit.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee lähellä kohdetta Talkeetna Public Library. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaille 2 kylpyhuonetta ja television.

Loved our stay!
We arrived to find everything just how I was told. Very cozy and uniquely built cabin. Was a nice base for visiting Talkeetna and one of Mahay's tours. Would definitely return if in the area!

You can’t go wrong with this property!
Absolutely perfect. Great views of Denali. The correspondence with the owner was superb. They were easy to work with and responded quickly. They helped us select the property that was best suited for our group. The house is unique and gives you a great Alaskan mountain feel. The decor is fascinating with all types of climbing and outdoor equipment used throughout the house. The kitchen was well stocked and grill was perfect for cooking Moose burgers and steaks. We enjoyed dinner out on the deck with a beautiful view of Denali. The beds were comfy and rooms were nice sized. Good quality towels and linens along with all of the products needed for showers. We will definitely stay here again.

Pleasantly surprised!
This was such a nice surprise! We all loved the quaintness and home feeling of this house. I am always skeptical about staying in any property be it a hotel or a rental property because I am very particular about cleanliness. This property is very clean. It’s great for a short getaways. Would love to rent all homes on this property for a family reunion. Unfortunately I have physical challenges and going upstairs with a spiral staircase was not easy and ended up to be a one time experience. Happy there was the bedroom downstairs. Great property. Would stay here again.

Interesting home with great views
Just a short, one night stay on our way to Denali but it was a good one. One of our party has mobility challenges so used the downstairs bedroom is a little snug but still comfy. A spiral staircase led to the second floor and an expansive suite. I wish we would have had a little more time to explore the grounds.

Amazing spot in the woods
We loved the Stone Hut! I was traveling with my mother, aunt and sister it was perfect for us four girls for an overnight on our way to Denali. The property is lovely and the location is not far from Talkeetna at all. We will stay here again next time we come to Alaska!

No oven or a real frig, just motel sized. But for the foo-foo set who are impressed by the fancy sinks and countertops it a nice place. Comfortable beds and couch, etc.

Strange configuration
This unit had a strange configuration which wasn't clear from the photos. The kitchen area is very small and only a tiny fridge. Bathrooms are tiny too. The one Q bed downstairs is boxed in with only one side open to get in. Great for kids bot not mature adults. There is a nice parlor adjacent. The bathroom sink/vanity are part of the kitchen. Only the tub and shower are separate. Very tight space. Upstairs (spiral stair) is another Q bed and small bath with shower. Up two stairs behind that room is another Q bed which is boxed in on two sides. Only a pocket door separates the two beds. There is ouside stairs to the upstairs if you dont like the spiral staircase. The next unit over shares a deck and it eliminated privacy. They are too close together! As big as this property is, they could have spaced them out better. Glad we only stayed 2 nights. It is nicely furnished but was missing many convenieces.

Unique place perfect for our family
We really enjoyed this place with its nooks and crannies and unique craftsmanship. Two of the bedrooms are small but the main upstairs bedroom is very spacious and all the beds were comfortable. Alas, it was cloudy and foggy while we were there but looks like the views would be fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

This property was very quaint, with the most amazing view from the back deck. It was clean and neat with the basic amenities and worked well for our needs since we were out exploring most of the day. The layout was a bit crowded, I would have liked a bit more space to store my belongings. But the view made up for the lack of space.
