Exceeded expectations
This was one of the most restful vacations we've had. The staff members are amazing. Stephanie, Rosa, Dejan and Rubi work perfectly as a team. Because the place is so well managed, we didn't have that many requests. However, when we did need something, the responses were immediate.
This is a relatively small hotel that is well maintained. We had a beach bungalow, and it had an unobstructed view (except for the beautiful tropical foliage) of the ocean. The bungalow itself was nicely decorated with a full kitchen, and it was super quiet. The staff was constantly raking the short distance from the hotel to the beach, so every day we could safely walk barefoot from our bungalow to the ocean. The ocean temperature is ideal and the sand is super soft. We literally spent hours swimming in the calm waters.
The breakfasts, brought to your room at your specified time, were a perfect way to start the day. Delicious mangos!
The hotel grounds were very well manicured. It really makes you feel like you're staying at a special place. The location is also ideal. It's about a 10 minute walk to downtown, where there are grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. You can easily get there by walking on the beach, or on the sidewalk in front of the hotel. And because it is far enough from downtown, you don't hear any of the "downtown noise" when you're at the hotel.
Could not have asked for anything more. Pura Vida!
