Golden Greek Getaway - 2 / 1 in Heart of Tampa

Summary:
Welcome to the Golden Greek Getaway! This home sits in the heart of Seminole Heights, Tampa. 5-10 minutes from Downtown, and walking distance to the Hillsborough River, and about a half a mile to tons of shops and restaurants. Seminole Heights is known for as a Foodie Hot Spot with many award winning restaurants all within a few minutes drive! The home has undergone an extensive renovation and has been filled with soft white and gray tones with pops of blue and gold to resemble parts of Greece.

The Space:
The space was designed to feel like a clean, crisp little Greek villa. Clean white paint with bold pops of blue and gold to make it pop. Enjoy movies on the couches, cook some meals in the full kitchen, or cuddle up in our comfortable beds. The house sits on 1/3 of an acre, so go out in the backyard to enjoy the fantastic Tampa, Florida weather!

Guest Access:
Guests have access to pretty much unlimited parking out front, the entire home and the backyard.

The Neighborhood:
Tampa in general has some fantastic restaurants and shops. This neighborhood (Seminole Heights) is known for our independent gourmet foodie restaurants and the Hillsborough River. We have some spectacular bars and restaurants, a good amount of them are about a half a mile walk. In our neighborhood you can get some coffee/breakfast in the morning, dinner/drinks at night, and even fresh Cuban bread at the 24 hour bakery that’s 3/4 of a mile away! 15min to airport, 5-10min to downtown/convention center, 5 min to Armature Works, 15 min to Moffit, 10 min to Ybor City, 20-50 min to beaches (depending on beach) and 15 min to Busch Gardens.

Getting Around:
Uber is readily accessible and you can typically get anywhere in Tampa for $7-$15 or so (depending on the day and location of course), plenty of restaurants and things to do (10-15 min walk), and the river is about 5 minutes walk.

Other Things to Note:
We have top of the line WiFi and a Roku tv with Netflix.

I’m available 24/7 via the airbnb app. Just shoot me a message and either me or my co-host will get back to you ASAP.

Cute stay close to downtown
Very cute place. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to stay close to the downtown area. Downtown is within a 10 minute drive. The neighborhood is quiet. We had one little minor question and the owner reached back out to me within minutes.

We came to Tampa to visit family. This property was a perfect location in an adorable historic district. The property was clean and comfortable. When needed, the host was very responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend this property.

I saw that it was remodeled beautifully and if there was a roach problem in the past I assure you it isn’t the problem now I did see one dead roach in a corner at the back entrance but that’s all I saw in the entire house. It was very clean! Loved the place so much I returned for a whole week it feels like a home away from home!

Everything was great, but I have two complaints. Firstly, there was no driveway, so we had to park on the side of the street, which made walking through the muddy grass in the rain unpleasant. Secondly, the patio lacked a light bulb, preventing us from dining outside. Nonetheless, the place was beautiful and the neighborhood quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this location in Tampa. There is a lot to see in the area and it is close to stores and restaurants. We visited Clearwater and Ybor. We were very happy with our stay, the host and price.

Long Weekend Getaway
The home has a cozy feel to it and it was perfect for the long weekend stay. Communication was always prompt with clear instructions for check in check out. The neighborhood is quiet and cute and only a short drive to the downtown area. We only had positive things to say about the home and would stay there again when in the area.

Extended Weekend Stay for Concert
This is a great property that's located in a wonderfully quiet and cute neighborhood. It was perfect for me and my adult daughter. The decor and design of the interior of the home is updated/modern and is very tastefully done. The beds were comfortable and the closet space is more than adequate. The communication with the property owner was excellent.... very responsive. The only negatives we experienced during our stay were: 1.) The floors and rugs in the bedrooms need to be cleaned better. We found debri, bobbi pins and hair in both bedrooms and the rugs have a sticky feel to them. 2.) Pest control needs to be improved. It's not a terrible issue, but needs to be addressed. Overall, this property worked out great for us and we'd likely rent again if in the area in the future.

Beautiful home, perfect location!
My husband and I often travel to Tampa to visit family in the area. This property is exactly as pictured - it's immaculate, comfortable, spacious, and nicely appointed. The location was convenient to resturants (walking distance to the Front Porch Grille, Trophy Fish, and others!) and Tampa attractions. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and I loved walking by the charming homes to the nearby park on the river. We had a few questions and the owners answered those immediately. We have recommended this home to other family members who visit from out of state, and will plan to stay here ourselves again on another visit.

Wonderful!
The place is perfect- exactly like the pictures! The host was very attentive and provided everything you could possibly need or want. Great location, close to everything and a short walk to a lovely neighborhood park on the river. This was by far out best VRBO experience -- will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Tampa !
