Cozy Stays
A nice location. This unit could have been excellent but…No hot water for the first 36 hours, No TV for 3 days. No ice cube trays, broken desk leg, dangerous bed room rug, broken towel holder. Dust and dirt in utility closet, vanity and washer/dryer areas. Unit should be professionally cleaned. AC filter was clogged. Worst thing was the inability to speak with owner. Had to go through the vrbo“platform” which was some kind of software. Only thing fixed was the hot water heater. Others had noted the TV issue and the lack of coffee cups. There also was not a toaster. Clearly the owner/vbro do not monitor guest comments concerns. Asked for a reduction and got the computer generated reply which was not an answer.A good cleaning, cups, toaster and ice cube trays would be great but also a bit of maintenance on the property, hooks on some of the doors and instructions on how to work the internet and TV as well as maps and restaurants in the area would be a nice touch. Vrbo you should be ashamed to feature this not ready property.

A nice clean and quiet property that was close to dining options and the city for our visit. Host was very responsive and personable. Will totally look to book here again when in Tampa.

Unit not as listed
The listing for this unit looks and sounds good online, although beware! When we checked in, we were told there was a parking pass (that must be the window at all times) and a fob to access to pool area. Neither of those items were in the unit. They did bring us a parking pass a few hours later, although never provided a fob, therefore we never had access to the pool for the entire stay. We discovered that the remote for the TV didn't have any batteries in it, they did provide batteries although we then discovered that the remote provided did not operate that TV. It was Superbowl weekend, and we were unable to watch TV the entire weekend. In the morning, I went to make coffee (be prepared to bring your own Keurig coffee pods) but there were no coffee cups. The only cups in the unit are glass mason jars. It's almost impossible and a bit unsafe to drink hot coffee out of a glass mason jar...We also discovered that the small hot water heater in the unit only had enough hot water for one shower. The second person took a cold shower each morning of the stay. I did contact Cozy stays (the management company) numerous times. One day one of the stay the responded stating they were sorry for the inconvenience and would provide us with coffee cups, a new remote and a fob - which NEVER happened. On day two of the stay in the afternoon they stopped responding altogether. I also attempted contacting VRBO regarding the inaccuracies, although they were also no help!

Basic but good location
Decent place to stay if needing to be near SOHO and Bayshore. Overall clean and quiet, even if a bit dated and perhaps missing amenities to make it feel welcoming (e.g., coffee mugs, soup bowls, or salt/pepper).
