Loved the cafe. Warm and welcoming with great food. Window of room was right above where employees take a break outside. I could hear every word of every conversation and sometimes it was at 6 am. The hotel was fine, not great but the check in staff wasn’t welcoming. Didn’t mind the older vibe to the place. Water to refill bottles versus buying bottles water would be a minimum to be able to expect but this was not the case.

My boyfriend and I got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes. Couldn’t get the door to open. Told the front desk. She stated she would let her boss know but I don’t know if she did. We took the stairs the rest of our stay. No one acknowledged the situation after.

The hotel gives a sense of not being in a hotel. The area the Tahitian Inn is full of what you need most on short walking distance. Staff polite and professional although one front desk person needs experience on interaction skills. The restaurant attached is great for breakfast!

Kara working the front desk was the only nice experience at this hotel. She was friendly checking in and was apologetic with what she couldnt fix. People beware the pictures and listings for the rooms are misleading. I understand that not all rooms are alike but this was no where near what i booked. I booked a "deluxe suite " with 2 queen beds with a separate area with a couch and coffee table with a stand up shower and large soaking tub AS SHOWED in the booking photo. Thats definitely not the room i got. I received a small room with 2 queens beds that was so close to the wall you had to turn sideways just to get pass the beds and there was a small chair. The floors were dirty and left the bottom of our socks black. The room smelled musty and had so much moisture in the air that the paper thin sheets and pancake thin pillow felt damp. The time we spent in this room my family was coughing and had so much congestion. There was 4 of us in the room which is why i booked a larger room. They only had 2 bath towels and wash clothes ready and the beds only had 3 pancake pillows on them. We just had a shower with no tub but to top it off we had NO hot water for 2 days!! Unfortunately we couldn't move to another room because i was told they were completely booked. I have stayed at many hotels using the Expedia app and have never had a problem with Expedia what so ever. They have always been on point with the hotels they represent. Worst hotel experience ever
