A pleasant surprise!
The staff had no record of my reservation, waited an hour, very apologetic Not there fault Hotel.com's fault. Really nice place, across the street from the train station.Very accommodating.

Good spot next to Taranto train station
Room and bed are comfortable, shower is good, breakfast is spartan. B&B provided a local map and name to the cheapest and quickest local restaurant I've seen in Italy. We were lucky when we found a B&B staff member opening the gate to the apartment building at noon (before the official check-in time).

Nice place once your find it;
I had a nightmare finding this place even after 5 calls with the manager Fabio. Google maps had me going the wrong direction. Fabio kept telling to look for a 2 story building but as you will see from my photo the building is 3 stories and 1/2 basement. There was no light at the entrance and the small sign was higher than sight line. I stopped in the area several times and asked for directions; no one had ever hard of the place. I finally resorted to asking a police woman at the station and she walked me across plaza to the corner where the building was located. As you can see in photo the name on the top bell button was unreadable. Positives: Nice clean, excellent location for rail travellers, great recommendation for dinner Neutral: breakfast most of prepackaged sweets, a few cereals and milk Negatives: finding the place, extremely small shower; barky dogs on the floor below (except in my case with 4 dogs at home who are barkers so this didn't bother me. No Instruction of how to get out of the locked from gate in the morning. I had to ask another guest. No stall on site in case of emergencies. Funny story. It was very hot in the room so I opened the window. I could hear a large and small dog barking back and forth. This went on for almost an hour. I then left to go to supper.

Convenient spot for rail travelers
Excellent location for those travelling by train (like us). Good equipped 24h kitchen with coffee, tea, sweets, yogurt, juice. The owner was very friendly - even gave us snacks and coffee to go (to our vacuum flask).

Salve prenoto la stanza e chiamo per ottenere conferma e il proprietario del B&B mi da conferma ma il giorno del mio pernotto per via telefonica alle 19:45 mi dice che che mi ha cambiato solo di stanza e mi dice vieni qui ma, in realtà mi porta da tutt’altra parte dicendomi poi di persona guarda ho sbagliato a lasciare la disponibilità della stanza aperta e senza avvisare mi porta li dicendomi qual è il problema ti ho trovato una sistemazione a tutt’altra parte in ogni caso ma non è così visto che si era accorto del problema dalla mattina e poteva avvisarmi e non l’ha fatto di proposito. Quindi non vi fidate

駅に近いb&bです。フロントはありませんので、到着予定時刻などを必ず電話連絡する必要があります。施設に入る前に鍵を受け取り、出る際にはポストの中に鍵を入れて返します。

An appartment with several rooms. People are coming at night and you hear each small sound. Very noisy place if you open the window. The conditioner and toilet was also loud. Strange sounds if you use the shower (like someone was throwing wood boxes on the floor). Nice location (two minutes from railway), good kitchen and room. P.S. Hotels.com please indicate two phone numbers of this B&B on your website. This B&B has two phone numbers on their website and we reached them only by the second one but not by the phone indicated on hotels.com

Il soggiorno di due notti, stanza senza bagno interno, descritto come bagno privato, ma non interno alla propria camera come viene descritto nell’annuncio. Colazione completamente disattesa, non possibilità di scaldare il latte, descrizione di bottiglia d’acqua di benvenuto assente, scarso cibo per la colazione. Prima notte rumore dei coinquilini sino alle 23:00 senza un minimo di rispetto per le persone che alloggiavano. L’unica eccezione è la pulizia complessiva dell’appartamento e la gentilezza della proprietaria. L’annuncio che descrive il B&B è furviante diverso da quello che realmente si trova nel B&B.
