Luxurious Inn Next to the Mountains and the River

The Tellico Plains Inn, originally established in 1916, is in the heart of Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway. The Inn was rehabbed in 2023 with modern flare but staying true to the character of a 100+ year old Inn. It is within walking distance to the local shops and minutes away from the Cherokee National Forest (Bald River Falls, Indian Boundary, trout fishing, hiking, kayaking). The Cole Room has two twin beds. The bathroom is a detached, full bathroom (tub/shower combo) and the bathroom is not shared. The bedroom also has its own ductless heating and cooling unit, 55" smart TV, console/desk with two chairs, and a mini fridge. The room is located on the 2nd floor of the inn.

If you need additional rooms for your entire party, friends, and family please be sure to ask about availability. AND, the Inn also has a 650 Sq Ft Event Room lit with 3 stylish chandeliers that can be rented out separately, great for weddings, bridal or baby showers, birthday parties, or any enthusiast group gathering! We hope you will enjoy the modern flare and updates to this 100+ year old Inn. We tried to salvage its character, keeping the original rustic wood floors, wainscoting, and dental trim. Be sure to take some time to relax on the porch in the rocking chairs or in the lobby and view some historic photos of the Inn and Tellico Plains.

Guests have access to the lobby, coffee station, porches, and the entire grounds of the Inn. We offer guests a shared office space on the second floor on a first come first serve basis. The office space has two dedicated workspaces which include desks, chairs, printer/scanner/copier, etc. If you know you will want to use the office space during your stay, it is best to inform the host in advance of your stay.

Centrally located in town and ample parking in back gravel lot and at side of Inn. Guests can literally walk the sidewalks to Tellico Grains Bakery, Trout Mountain Coffee, and several local shops. The Tellico Plains Inn is the center piece of the town.

Guests are provided with 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 wash cloths, 2 full rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, starter set of K-cups, cream and sugar packets, and disposable coffee cups.
