The stay was enjoyable. The wallpaper/ decor in our room could greatly use freshening up. The ladies at the front desk were very kind & hospitable. The breakfast was delicious and the lady working the breakfast bar was absolutely delightful….with everyone! A real ray if sunshine!

Very expensive
We needed two beds plus a pull out couch and Holiday Inn was the only place in Thunder Bay where I could find this - it’s the only reason I stayed here. The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean but older. It was very humid, but it’s been very hot and humid so I am guessing the old systems couldn’t quite keep up. The room itself was cool. What floors me was the price - the value for money just absolutely wasn’t there. I have stayed other places that are much newer and spacious for much less. I would rather book two rooms at another hotel than stay here again.
