The whole reason I booked this hotel was for the pool and waterslide, only to find out the waterslide was closed when we got there. Management said is was on their website, yet I had booked in advance and did not see any notice that it was closed. Kids were EXTREMELY disappointed.

The smell inside the facility and room was terrible. Not clean at all especially the elevator and corridor. Booked through Expedia and shows dining available when came they said its not available if booked through expedia… Front staff were nice and professional

**Subject:** Request for Rebate Due to Unpleasant Stay Dear Hotels.com Customer Service, I am writing to explain the reason behind my recent negative review and to request a rebate for our stay. During our visit, the room next to ours had three dogs left unattended for the evening. At 4 AM, these dogs began barking incessantly, disrupting our sleep. We contacted the front desk and were only offered a room change at 4 AM, which was impractical given the circumstances. We were forced to check out early due to the disturbance. Additionally, our room lacked a plug for the bathtub, and despite my request, the hotel was unable to provide one. After a long 9-hour drive, we were exhausted and looking forward to a restful stay, but unfortunately, our experience was far from restful. Given the inconveniences we faced, I kindly request a rebate for our stay. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. The pool was SUPER cold and basically unusable. There appears to be long term housing in there so it doesn't feel like a hotel. There was underwear left in our bathroom from some previous guest. It does not look like the pictures. I would not stay here again.

Absolutely disappointing in every aspect! We’re travelling across the country and of all our stays it was the most expensive and most regretted. I think most of the positive reviews must have been from previous brand/ownership. Learn from our mistake and pick somewhere else. No customer service, our section smelled like weed and cigarettes. We notified the front desk and no one cared and in fact laughed at us when we brought it up. The walls are paper thin and there was noise all night long from adjacent rooms, no breakfast included (probably for the best) and room was so far away with no nearby exit (except in case of emergency). Pool was under maintenance and vending machines out of order. Just horrible. There was also road construction out front but I can let that slide as it’s not in the hotel’s control but in addition to all the other negative aspects, it didn’t help. I’ve got nothing nice to say at all. Save your money and scroll past this hotel.

Our room did not have air conditioning so they gave us a fan which was appreciated. The couch was filthy and the carpet was simply disgusting. The staff were rude and did not speak english and spoke hindy with no respect for the people around them. I had to stay as we were there through work. I will say the bed was comfortable. that was all.

Property was ok, but just ok. Very dated, smell in common areas and hallways. Room was clean and well appointed. Could not adjust room temp, no matter what we set it to it just blew ice cold air. People loitering in the parking lot all the time. Honestly though, you're not going to get much better under $200/night in Thunder Bay.

We liked that the rooms had access to the pool but they dont open the slide until 5 so we couldnt get to use the waterslide. Vending machines took our change and staff wouldnt give back. Everything was out of order and people hanging around the lobby day and night

Check inn was fine. Air conditioning did not work. They had to bring us a fan to move the warm air around. The door handle in the bathroom fell off. Bathroom fan didn’t work. Must be hooked up to the air conditioning. Ice makers on any floor did not work. Had to go to the restaurant to get ice. No ATM Machines worked. The bed was comfortable. Why is this hotel on a web site.

There was a certain smell as you walk into your unit, even the hall way. Their wifi is free for everyone with no password or anything but it is the worst wifi we ever got as for a hotel, even the motels have better wifi. The front desk service wasn’t the greatest, it seemed like they didn’t want to work, gave you one word answers, nothing beyond that.
