Welcome to A Bears Pause, where you'll feel right in the heart of nature with this authentic split-level cabin hugged by the Poconos. Once inside, you will be in awe of the beautiful log interior and high ceilings coupled with the hand drawn murals in the front entrance, continued on the upstairs doors. There are large windows throughout the house to enjoy beautiful views of the countryside. Enjoy the spacious, well equipped kitchen to create meals easily.

A family-friendly 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and 2 bonus sleeping rooms!
The master queen bd/bth, guest bath, and 2 full beds are upstairs. Full size kitchen with appliances including S'mores maker, Kitchenaid Mixer, Bread Maker, Air Fryer.
The lower level has a generous family room, a 1/2 bath, and a trundle bunk bed (sleeps 2) in each bonus room. There are 2 USB charging lamps in the three upstairs bedrooms. Additional USB charging cords and wireless docking station, just in case you need them.
I have a tent and 2 sleeping bags - please bring your own if you need more.

Notes: I have delicate kitchen countertops. Avoid placing any hot dishes or kitchen ware on the kitchen countertops.

- I am family friendly, NOT baby proofed.

- I have a septic, our pipes need extra care - Please do not flush anything down the toilet but toilet paper. Lady products are a definite NO NO!

- Do not pour any food, coffee grinds, or grease down the sink (again, septic issue).

- If something gets broken or damaged, please let us know right away so we can replace it for the next guest!

Quiet community, supermarkets 10 min drive (Walmart, ShopRite, and Weis). Food - 10 min drive (Pocono Rocks Cafe, Fork Street Bistro, Sabor Caribeno, Bruno Brothers Pizza, Thai Chang Cuisine, Starbucks, Wawa, Popeyes, KFC, Taco Bell, Burger King, Mc Donald’s Perkins). 14 mins to Kalahari, 17 minutes to Great Wolf, and 20 minutes to camel back

Vehicles or bikes are required - there is no public transportation to the house.

No guests unless registered.
No fireworks allowed in community ($500 fine).
No smoking on property of any sort.
No parties, events or commercial photography.
No charging electric vehicles.
No candles or incense.
No glitter/sparkles, confetti or smash cakes.
No moving furniture.

We do have wildlife, including bear sightings, so make sure not to leave food or trash outside.

If you choose to book - Please take note and abide by the House Notice that is available inside the house.

We have two exterior cameras, At the front door facing the entryway and over the driveway - both record audio and video.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY: WE HAVE RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT IN/OUTSIDE THE HOUSE FOR OUR GUESTS TO ENJOY. TENANT/S MUST BE AWARE THAT THESE ACTIVITIES ARE POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS ACTIVITIES AND
THAT THEY OR THEIR GUEST COULD BE SERIOUSLY INJURED OR EVEN KILLED. TENANT/S CAN VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATE IN THESE ACTIVITIES WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE DANGER INVOLVED AND AGREE TO ASSUME ANY AND ALL RISKS.
