Deichkrone - the cosy and practically furnished terraced house is located in the immediate vicinity of the Eider dyke, from where you have a beautiful view over the estuary to the North Sea. You can go on exciting hikes through a diverse natural environment with river and wading bird areas, including sea eagles, or explore the surrounding area by bike along the dyke. You can reach a dog beach on foot. There is also a lovely bathing area to linger.

In less than half an hour you can reach the tourist centre of St. Peter Ording with its extensive, fine sandy beach and enjoy the wide range of tourist attractions. You will find information on this in the house folder in your flat.

Tönning itself offers a wide range of activities. The Multimare Wattforum with playground and information about the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site for the whole family, guided mudflat walks, excursions into the Wadden Sea, numerous restaurants around the harbour and a bike hire shop in the town.
