The hotels location is convenient and the rooms are clean. Cleaning stuff stays on top of it and always cleans well and often. The rooms are very small even for one person but it’s not terrible. The temperature is controlled by the hotel, a few nights I woke up drenched in sweat because they switched the temperature from cool to HEAT! Mind you this is October , temperatures are still high outside and it’s a tad humid… I would say spend a little more money and stay at a more comfortable room. The pillows were atrocious they should be illegal and the last two nights there was a very foul smell coming out of what I’m assuming is the trash vents. Won’t be staying here again.

Hotel allowed me to check in early for ¥3000. That was nice but they did not tell me it was a smokers room. My eyes teared up from the stuffy smell. I also could not open the window. The AC helped a bit but it was a tough smell to sit in. Room was also very small. The sink and shower in the bathroom share a faucet. Also an 11 minute walk from the nearest public transportation metro. If you're gonna be in a small room you should at least be closer to the metro/food options. Front desk was nice at checkin and checkout but I have nothing nice to say about the room. I only stayed one night. I do not recommend.

APA hotel is always my go-to in Tokyo. This hotel was in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful when I had questions on the luggage shipping service.

The lobby of the hotel was quite nice, however the room itself was unclean (peeling wallpaper, stains in the bathtub/on the walls). However, the staff was very kind, the room itself was cheap, and it is relatively close to several train stations.

Disappointing
When we booked it said to request twin beds at the hotel. When we checked in it wss automated through a machine and when i tried to speak to staff they were rude and dismissive. I called them from the room to enquire and again the staff were rude and dismissive, told me I booked a double and essentially: tough. The room was extremely small. I wouldn't have called it a double - my bathroom at home is bigger than the room. There was no way for both of us to get in or out of bed without climbing over each other or waking each other up. As friends, that's incredibly awkward. There was no room for both of us to get ready at the same time or to access or bags unless one person stayed on the bed while the other went through their bag on the floor. The bathroom was so small my feet touched the door when I used the toilet (I'm very short). They seemed more inclined to provide unnecessary amenities like a tv and desk and chair, taking up unnecessary room, instead of prioritising efficiency, like a bed that people could actually access. 2 sides were walled off, and the 3rd was so close to the wall and tv no one could fit. One elevator for 14 floors so it took forever to go up or down. They didn't do any room cleaning at all, just hung clean towels to the outside of your door but left used ones and trash in the room for the duration of the stay (even after we asked them to collect the dirty towels). Actually a terrible experience.

Rooms were compact (compared to u.s.) but everything was organized well and there was space under the bed for your luggage. The staff was really friendly and helpful to foreigners, the hotel is close to lots of dining and shopping areas, yet is still quiet enough to chill and walk around. Shrines are nearby so be sure to check them out! Would stay here again and recommend to others.

This was actually a unique experience. We checked ourselves in using a check in kiosk that was very self explanatory. The rooms are very small with the single bed but it was sufficient. My only suggestion is, more laundry machines and delivery of towels and blankets to rooms not make the customers come down to the desk. Great hotel and location!

The staff were nice, helped my brother in-law with his lost creditcard situation in another town and we were able to store our bags for free during our transition day. The room I had was very small and tight, hard to open my suitcase. No space to move around or stretch. Bathroom was very small.
