For the area that we were in it was close to everything. I enjoyed that everyday they would place new set of towels and yukatas with cups, instant coffee/tea packs and toothpaste so you always had a supply. On first day check-in was good and they had 2 bottled waters in the room already. The only issue we had was the room had a musty smell which probably comes from all the days of it having high humidity and so circulation of air is not so good. They control the air con/heat depending on the weather outside. Rooms are small but that is noted when booking look at the room size. We had Double Bed so if you have a lot of luggage I'd make sure whatever you buy try and pack it in luggage as soon as you can if you not using. Breakfast was good. Food is the almost the same everyday. When you first arrive if you choose buffet breakfast option it is, they print off meal ticket vouchers for each day. Make sure you are looking at the exact date on the tickets when you go down for breakfast. All in all it was a good experience.

This APA location is at the center of Kabukicho, Shinjuku, so the ease to any of the subway lines is only a short walk away. Overall I would have to say my stay was immaculate. Everything from the helpfulness of the staff to the cleanliness of the hotel and its amenities, all the way until the end when they held my luggage at its hotel after checking out. The only thing that wasn’t excellent was its breakfast. I would say don’t prebook the breakfast, instead you can order a ticket to it’s breakfast cafe when you’re there.

Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Location convenient as you can easily walk to subway and main points in Shinjuku. As a couple staying here, the room is VERY small with limited space for two people’s luggage. Bathroom is very small. Room would be okay for a single person. Location within shinjuku is extremely loud until 4-5 am. There are large billboards just outside the hotel blaring ads most of the night. Definitely recommend eye mask and ear plugs.

Overall a good hotel for the price, and right in the heart of Shinjuku. The staff were nice and attentive. the largest downside, however was the long waits to use the few elevators available in the building, and inability to use the stairs as they are for fire escape only. Overall I can recommend this hotel.
