Overall very solid. Good location, nice common areas. While doesnt have the amenities of higher star hotels, they maximize what they have (free breakfast, coffee machine, wine hour, good laundry room). Street can be a bit noisy (sirens).

The place is nice and the stuff was kind and helpful. But it is a bit far from the entry of subways, It always took us ~10 minutes walking to find the recommended JR lines, with many luggage it was not that easy for us, especially the day we arrived was raining, in the winter… Also the place is so much smaller and limited compared to what it showed up in their pictures, but surprisingly they use the space really smart that could fit everything required in this small room. Other than that, it is a nice place to live.

Favorite hotel
This is one of our favorite hotels to stay at when we come back to Japan. They provide great service for their guests. They have breakfast and snacks for guest to enjoy throughout the day. The rooms are a bit small but it was able to fit about 5 people. I encourage you to stay here.

The location of this hotel is nice and convenient, 7-11, family mart just a few mins walk! There is a complimentary breakfast for all guest which is wonderful. My husband love the happy hour (5-9pm)!

Little heart of Tokyo
Great service, centrally located, great hot water pressure, and lots of free amenities from continental breakfast to evening drinks to bottled water. 204 sq ft standard rooms are very small for 3 people - not even enough room to lay a regular suitcase flat, but very positive experience overall.

LOCATION About a 5min walk from the Higashi Shinjuku station and a 15min walk to the main Shinjuku station. Its situated in an area that is near a lot of night clubs - so if you walk behind the hotel at night, there is a lot of activity (within the confines of the clubs) - so it's still OK to walk around, but would not recommend it with kids in tow. Ironically, the hotel is located next to a church :) There are a few eateries along the same row of the hotel. Highly recommend the one called Yayoiken - its a canteen style eatery, with English menu that you can order from a touch screen - very value for money and decent food quality. There is a mini supermarket next door and a 7/11 or Lawsons further down the street. 10min walk to a Don Quijote store. Hotel is in a quieter part of Shinjuku. Highly recommend if you're OK with the night life. ROOMS Rooms are TINY.....feels rather claustrophobic since the windows do not have a view (looks out to another part of the building). But I guess if you're out and about for the whole day, then you'd really be spending 7-8 hours sleeping in the room. FACILITIES NONE. But appreciate the laundry room with 5 washer/dryer 2-in-1. CAUTION: If you have a medium load then you'd need 2-3 times extra run on the drying - which is another 1-1.5hrs of dry time. BREAKFAST/ HAPPY HOUR The hotel provides FREE breakfast - which consists of bread, croissant, doughnuts, cereal, milk and some dried fruit - its the same selection everyday and alcohol from 5:30

Very good for families with children. Hotel is well located with train stations within walking distance. Rooms are a good size and clean and quite. Amenities are good and staff is very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
