We stayed 8 nights at Minn (family of 4), the place was very clean, updated and very spacious
The neighbourhood is amazing and the ASAKUSA subway station is very close. It’s very close to the senjo Ji temple, it was a very cool experience to walk through it every day to get around
The only thing was that it would come at least once to empty the garbages or change toilets. You basically have to submit a request via a Japanese app to get any service needed
Overall I would stay again
Good place for a family to stay. All communication was through email. Some extra towels would have made the stay better. Overall, a good property in a quiet neighborhood around Sensoji temple.
We stayed two (2) nights - and it was a wonderful stay (marking a great welcome to Tokyo)! The room was as advertised for our family of 7. The room was clean, spacious and the hotel was conveniently located next to Asakusa Station (and walking distance to Senso-ji Shrine). Will definitely return again.
My family and I had a great stay at Minn Asakusa! Area is fantastic - has a local feel but close to a ton of attractions. Our room was clean, spacious, and had a balcony! Would definitely stay there again!
We stayed here with our teenagers and found the apartment lovely, modern & clean. However the ‘double’ beds very small, more like a large king single for Westerners. My husband ended up using one of the futons in the futon area and slept there with my daughter, so he could have some decent sleeping space. However, the futons were very thin and not overly comfortable.
The main challenge with the apartment is the sensor lights that come on when the bathroom used during the night, they were very bright, particularly over the futon area and easily disrupted sleep. My husband ended up putting tape over the sensor lights to stop it however I’m sure not.everyone is able to come up with this solution. The bathroom is good and generous in size.
My husband did find the desk with a large screen quite useful as he was working a few hours most mornings and could plug in his laptop and use the big screen
The couch is small and very firm and uncomfortable. Although they have a kettle there are no actual coffee cups with handles, only some stainless steel vessels.
Overall I’d only recommend Minn Asakusa for a few nights stay as it is very close to the train station and sightseeing. We stayed an entire week that just wasn’t comfortable enough for that duration.

Our favorite hotel in Tokyo
It was an amazing stay, our favorite hotel so far in Tokyo! So close in walking distance to all the convenience stores, shops, Asakusa Sensoji Temple and so many busy shopping streets around. Smooth process from booking to end of our trip. Love the availability of washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Tokyo.

Liked: Amenities
Very convenient to major sightseeings but also a bit noisy from outside especially at night. The room is very spacious and well equipped for a short stay.
Minn Asakusa was the perfect place for us to stay on the last leg of our trip. Our room was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities including a complete kitchen and laundry. We had two beds in addition to a small room with a tatami mat that my two kids loved sleeping on.
The location is also excellent. The Asakusa train station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, which also has a Matsuya shopping mall inside and a mini-mart across the street. The Senso-ji template and Nakemise-dori street (which has lots of shopping stalls and restaurants) are also within walking distance.
This is an unmanned hotel, and everything is done through scanning QR codes with your phone including check-in and check-out. Minn Asakusa will send you text messages in both Japanese and English as you get closer to your check-in date and you are encouraged to complete the pre-check-in process online. Unfortunately, I did not do this so when I tried to check in at the lobby on my phone, I kept getting server errors and wasn't able to complete it. Even though it was an unmanned hotel, there actually was an extremely nice and helpful manager there who stepped out of her office and helped me complete the check-in process.
Also, they cannot accept luggage to be shipped there, so send them to the Yamato Transport Matsuya office instead at the train station and pick them up from there.
I would definitely stay at Minn Asakusa again.

A little bit far from Asakusa station but Roman is big and clean. Check out is very simple and easy. Very good!
Saying 24 hour reception wish it was clearer, check in needs to be done by yourself there is no physical person there. It’s online. You can’t send luggage in advance or from the property which is hard. Other than check in having many issues with the process. Once in the room was large and spacious and beds super comfortable. Location was also good.
As a family of 4 we were extremely unimpressed with this property. The ‘cloud’ checkin facility was woeful, intermittent and highly impersonal. It’s one thing to have a 3pm checkin but with no facility to store luggage it’s also inconvenient for international travellers.
The is extra charges for clean towels and no option of ‘extra’ services such an iron.
The state of the bedding was disgusting with blood on the mattress and protectors and one quilt in particular was disgraceful with brown stains all over it.
We would NOT recommend this accomodation at all and regret booking it.

Minn Asakusa is amazing!
We had an amazing experience with the property. We went there as a family of 4; 2 adults and 2 children. Very spacious and clean. The bathroom is properly sealed and could be heated up. Everything was in working condition. We will definitely consider this property in the future. Regards, the Ling family

Clean and convenient
Convenient access to Tokyo metro and nearby shopping. Check in was a bit stressful because we arrived way later (11pm) than the time I put during pre check in due to a train accident delay, and the virtual front desk didn't pick up the Skype call for ~5 min so I thought they were unavailable. After you talk with them, they provide you the door access code very easily! Love the small kitchenette, we were able to buy groceries at the nearby supermarket to cook. The heater function in the bathroom to dry our clothes after washing laundry is amazing. I wish there was a hand towel bar by the sink or more towels bars to hang large bath towels. They do provide a fold out rack for towels but there wasn't enough space for 5 large towels and the small towels to dry. There are annoying automatic lights by the door/toilet/sink that prevents people in the "futon room" from falling asleep so if you are sensitive to light you should sleep closer to the balcony/ceiling AC unit. We ended up hanging the bath towels like curtains on the wooden wall separator to block out some light. It also blinds you when you go to the toilet in the middle of the night. If there is a way to turn off the automatic light function, I didn't figure it out. Overall, I will definitely consider staying at another minn. brand aparthotel in the future!
