The building location was amazing for those wanting to be located near both metro and trains (Shinigawa station). It really helped us get around and was very convenient. Amenities: They had a 7 eleven open until 1am in the basement, a Tullys Cafe on ground floor, and a pool on the 2nd floor. Amenities were excellent. Room: The rooms are where it really suffered. We changed rooms twice because the rooms smelled like old cigarettes. Despite them being non smoking rooms, it appears that the carpets kept all that in. It needs to be completely stripped away. While the final room was tolerable, it was definitely a significant flaw. All else was very very good.

Conveniently located with great professional staff and restaurants. 7-11 on the basement floor for after hour snacks if you wake up odd hours with jetlag, and Tully's for coffee. The bathroom feels outdated (business hotel vibe) and the gym only has treadmills and no wieghts.

Front desk and lobby were lovely. But, carpets in the hallways were stained, rooms were outdated, especially the bathrooms, which had an unpleasant odor. Prince hotels used to have a great reputation in Japan, so sad to see the brand diminished. I would not pay the amount we paid for this experience again.

Lobby was grand and opulent but that where this property falls short rooms were old, furniture was not is great shape with stain on the chairs. Dust in the corner and the bed box spring was torn and ripped. Bathroom was dark and dingy. Fell far short of the “Shin” name meaning new in Japanese.

Great hotel - Great Locatiom
Great location near Shinagawa train station so easy to get around. Area where the hotel is is very quiet and not lots going on however the closeness to Shinagawa train station makes it a great location
